Somewhere out there
I don't know if it's just a phase I'm going through or a more permanent change in taste, but I'm getting really tired of flavors.

I think it started when I wanted to taste test a couple different brands of unflavored nicotine for use in DIY. I got used to the unflavored pretty quickly. Now when I go back to my old flavors, they're, well, rather annoying. A light menthol is about the only flavor I still like.

I know there are some unflavored vapors around. Why did you start using unflavored?

I used to keep multiple tanks filled with different flavors. What am I going to do with all the extra tanks now?

I've gotten tired of most flavors, but its probably because I never buy "premium" e-juice and I end up vaping one flavor for a long time. Since I came from clearos a few weeks ago, I had to dilute all of my juice big time to lower the nicotine to vape on my .2 ohm RDA. I don't consider myself a flavor junkie, because I find most flavors overwhelming on a dripper. Now when I vape, I get a nice hint of a flavor that used to be, but nothing lasting.

If I were you I would try some new vendors. I've been making decent money this summer so I'm planning on placing orders from 2 or 3 new vendors. I have like 30 bottles of juice waiting for me from Killer Juice and their $.99 15mL weekend sales. Also planning on trying Open Source Vapor. They list every ingredient and percentage, even the brands. Hopefully I can find a few concoctions that suit my taste buds.

I would say that happens with most of the stuff I get

Except a lot of the NET tobacco I get have stayed in rotation a long time
I will favor one over the others for a period But I try to keep a variety and that works
and I have been using them over a year

The nickoticket vanilla's have been good long term as well
but again I make sure I don't vape them exclusive

But most of the other juices I've got that I have loved I have grown tired of
I always try new stuff to keep it interesting
and will continue to do so
because it is important to keep it fresh

When I was still smoking a few and my taste buds were deadened I liked stronger flavors because I couldn't taste the weaker ones.

Two years out from my last cigarette I'm finding that I really can't take strong flavors for very long before becoming tired of vaping them. A couple of days ago I was at the local B&M and decided to have a go at the juice bar again. I swapped my drip tip from Vivi Nova to Vivi Nova for about 20 minutes trying one after the other. Nothing stuck. These weren't all from one vendor. It was an assortment of 50 or so juices from Innevape, Suicide Bunny, Vapor Hut, and their own house brand from a private juice supplier.

What I keep going back to is Dekang RY4 and Dekang Tobacco. Lately, I've been vaping a lot of Madvapes Mad 4, which is a mild RY4 juice. All of those are pleasing to vape all day long, with mild flavor that you sense on each draw, but they don't get in your face and make you want to dump the tank and try something else.

Everyone raved about Vape My Day. It was amusing at first, then got old after an hour. It was the same with Snickerdoodle. Nice for a while, then annoying. Is it just me or do others find an all day vape better if it's subtle in flavor?

I get tired of "creamy" flavors quickly but i never seem to get tired of fruits like mango, strawberry or blueberry. I love a good custard but cant stand to vape them all the time. Blueberries and cream is awesome for a day but then its just too much.

As long as its a decent fruit and not too hard on a carto, i can vape them for a long time.

Never really got into "all flavors" to begin with. I would try sweet stuff here and there and my reaction has largely been "that's interesting", vape a tank of it or less, and didn't care to repeat the experience. I've always stuck with the tobacco flavors just because of that - they aren't going for a flavor/sweet overload. Moving to unflavored was a natural transition for me.

I'll do a bakery/sweet on occasion or as a seasonal thing but it better be damn good. The majority of the time it's always been tobacco flavors or unflavored.

I agree with you! The only flavor I've not grown super tired of is a NET juice and NTs frenilla/custard although my still needs steeping but i vape them anyway since they still good enough to vape. And i don't get tired of them either.

But recently i've been buying alot of other brands and alot of KJ to test new flavors. And as you said, to keep it interesting! :) I've still some juice i haven't tested yet because i bought so many diffrent ones. So i usualy test a new flavor when i feel that i get tired of "the same old" flavor.

I didn't mean to imply that I was unhappy with the current state of my taste. Just slightly amused.

I have always needed to rotate flavors in order to keep from overloading on any one particular flavor.

And I did go through a few months of preferring lighter and lighter flavor.

Yeah but there's the whole issue: The myth of the All Day Vape. I think it's really rare out there that someone finds a singular flavor and that's all they vape and do it for months on end. There are countless newbie "What's the best.." threads on ECF from people chasing a single "best" liquid. Good luck with that. Usually they end up with a bad case of flavor overload and start complaining that none of it works for them, blame the vendors even, and post yet another "What's the best.." flavor chase thread.

At some point the best thing you can do is step away from the flavor chase and choose "none of the above" to give yourself a break. It takes many people who have been on a flavor quest time to even accept the idea of unflavored liquid, let alone order some. It's not like vaping air. A high VG unflavored will have a nice, slightly sweet edge to it.

I guess I'm one of those cases... and maybe not... I vaped ice menthol (home made) for two years strait. Every time I thought "hey, lets try this flavor!" it always ended in me throwing away 9ml of a 10ml bottle because I got so fed up after an hour, i couldn't bare it. Now the difference here really is that "ice menthol", at least the pure one, doesn't actually have a taste... its just fresh and cold. After a few hours vaping it, it numbs your taste so its not even that cold anymore and you're just vaping nic and something "fresh". I guess thats the only reason I could stick to it for so long.

After my two year break, I started to search for a new ADV and I ordered a bunch of different flavors from different manufactures and guess what? To me, most of them just suck (I still remember my blueberry drama... I hate the fruit and I even hate more the e-liquid... almost threw up and was sick for like two days... really left a trauma!).The only one I could vape for 3 or 4 days was a premium eliquid from Hangsen (mojito), not to be confused with the normal mojito which doesn't taste near as good as the premium version (I have both). But even this one wasn't that great... it became "bearable" (at least not disgusting like other flavors). Anyway, after three weeks searching, I ordered a premium ice menthol and BAM... finally I found something I could vape for over a week without getting enough of it. Of course it was a little too harsh at the beginning (more like a menthol bomb lol) but I knew that could happen so I ordered the 24mg version (50/50 pg/vg) and than cut it down to 18mg (43pg/67vg). This made it a little sweeter and now I vape exclusively this... I even ordered 500ml of it so you can see that I have no problem "sucking" that for a very very long time :D

Regards
Tony

PS: While I'm waiting for the 500ml and since my 30ml are over, I decided to switch to home made unflavored... rather not tasting anything than something that will just taste bad. Its quite good actually... 43/67 mix of 18mg nic strait... maybe when someone gets fed up will all those flavors, a day or week of unflavored might bring the taste back to a point you want to try some more. I'm happy with just a fresh breath :)

Anybody else getting tired of all flavors? ..... Great Subject!

I gave up on vaping all these various flavors.

Now I make my own juice (a tobacco / cigar blend), and that's all I vape. In fact I have about 400ml of it and will make more when that's done.

I am hooked on this stuff just like I was hooked on 2 packs a day of full-strength 'Reds' when I smoked for over 40 years!

I stopped buying any pre-made juice, and again, I only make 1 kind of juice now, and basically use the same recipe for all of it.

I do not believe in the concept of an ADV. I switch flavors frequently throughout the day. This does help to not get tired of a certain flavor. Lately, I have been into really strong flavors, citrus, cinnamon, red hot, and menthol. I got kinda burned out on flavors in general, and vaped unflavored for a few days. Now I keep one tank of unflavored along with my various other flavors.
