IMPORTANT

I broke 4 DSE905s I got as samples!!! Yes, 4!!

The rubber thing were the led turns on, where the atty attaches to, breaks off from the unit.

2 times I took it from my pocket and it's broken, same thing with an employee and a customer. So total 4 units broken, of the 7 I got as sample :(

It's VERY IMPORTANT to unscrew the atomizer from the unit when not using it, especially when putting it in your pocket. With the atty attached it will bend and detach the rubber ring from the device.

Hope you guys read this before breaking yours!!

PICS please? I am not following... the 1 I have is working perfectly. I put it my shirt pocket with atty attached... but I think you would have to be careful anyway... but agian can I see a pic of the broken part?

I am having a problem with mine, also. It seems the area where the atty and battery attach is easy to break. Mine had a slight wiggle to it yesterday, but was still working. (I have never put mine in my pocket.)

This morning I was unscrewing the atty and the plastic part came off. The wires didn't break, so I pushed it back into place and it still works, but I'm afraid it will not hold up very long.

Amy, I hope you will tell the manufacturer about this so they can try to do something to make this part of the 905 more solid or stable.

I really do like the 905, but I can't recommend it to others because of this problem. :(

A second pic.

I bought two of the 905's. I'm now using the second one and even though the first one still works when I put it back together, I've noticed that the second one vapes better than the other one did before it broke.
Also, the second one seems to have a solid, stable connection... so far. The one that broke had a bit of a wiggle in it before I ever used it.

I've been thinking about the problem I had with one of mine. It's probably not a problem with ALL 905's. I think I just got a bad one.

I've been using the other one for several hours and it seems fine. I've changed the atty and the cart a few times to test it. It doesn't "wiggle" like the other one did.

It's probably just like anything else... sometimes you just get a bad one. :)

Got...Glue?

I might try to glue it, but I'm not sure what kind of glue I should use. One part is a plastic type material, the other is metal. Anyone know what kind of glue will work best to bond the two types together? I'm a little scared  ... I don't want to make it worse.

Right now, I have a strip of duct tape around it. LOL
It is holding very well, and maybe I don't need to try anything else as long this is working.

I like the 905, but I'm having issues with the button....Mine isn't falling off, I just have to press it quite a few times before it will work. At first I thought it was the auto-off, but I can turn it on, and then when I try to puff, it won't come on until I've pressed the button like 10 times......Am I missing something or is mine just funky?

Tink, my good 905 doesn't do that. I think yours is "funky." The one I have that is broken does the same thing yours is doing. Sometimes the button works, sometimes it doesn't... and sometimes the button activates the LED flash, just like the bottom button.

One good thing about it though... when it DOES vape, it's awesome!

Does the LED area feel good and stable? No "wiggle?"

The LED is very secure.....no wiggle at all. It just pains me to have to send it back after the long wait to get it (gotta love customs). Then wait again to get another.
