The classics have a bit more lee way with builds closer to one ohm...see post above. The Classic isn't that much different from the Provari V.2.
The main differences are:
The Classic has variable wattage, whereas the V.2 doesn't. I bought into the idea that VW is better than VV, but I'm not sure it makes a significant difference.
The Classic is flat at the top instead of curving inward where the atty attaches. Not a huge deal, but the straight form factor makes it look more uniform.
The Classic can accommodate a lower ohm atty, but not lower than 1 ohm, I think. Since I use 1.5 or above, this doesn't affect me, whether I use the V.2 or the Classic.
The Classic has different button colors from which to choose, not a consideration for me. It's kind of cutesy for the different colors to cycle through when changing batteries, but that's a non-issue in my case.
One thing I really like about the Classic is that the battery life shows up on the display after every vape, different from having to go into the menu to see it.
All that said, the Provari V.2 and the Classic both offer the same smooth, reliable vape experience. I paid full price for a couple of my V.2s and the Classic and then bought several other V.2s when they went on sale. I gave away three to family members who are not currently using them.I now have one Classic and about four V2.s. I wish I had bought more V.2s when they were cheap and available!
anybody still using provaris? I'm using a kfl plus on mine.

That is an apt analogy, in so many ways...it just works, and works, and works...
I feel the same way. I've been vaping kfl+ for the past 3 years, they replaced the carto tanks I used before them. I love that they don't leak, have a good th, and can take a beating. I just carry 2 vapes to change the flavor when I can't taste one anymore or when I need a change in flavor.that's all I've vaped for the last 4 years ... 6 ProVaris topped with a Kayfun Lite+
if you were to check back in 10 years ... I'll still be vaping them![]()

Am testing two Innokin Ares on two Provi's. Goood CRACker!
The toppers may change, but the mods don't.
Love my Ritz.
Every day. Tanks- Kabuki clones, N2’s, Endura T22’s.anybody still using provaris? I'm using a kfl plus on mine.

when the pod invasion finally takes over vaping ...the ProVari will still be vaping on.
when all the little pod mods break and are replaced with better pod mods

If using the v2, the difference in a lower ohm build will be higher available wattage. With a 3.5 amp limit, to reach the max 15 watts, one needs to build about a 1.3 ish coil. Besides the wattage though, a lower ohm coil with the same wire gauge as your using now will probably produce a faster slightly warmer vape. But if you go with a slightly thicker wire with the lower resistance, imo you will just notice the increased power and perhaps a bit more flavorI like my kfl at 2.2 ohms, I've read a lot of posts about 1.5-1.8 ohms, I guess I'll have to try that and see what difference it makes.
Why, yes I do. My favorite topper for them is the KFL.anybody still using provaris? I'm using a kfl plus on mine.
