For the ProVari minis, do they use 18500s?
Provari Mini required an 18350 button top. With an extension cap/ring, it could use an 18490/18500 button top.

Standard Provari 2.5 used an 18490/18500 button top. With an extension cap/ring, it could use an 18650 button top.

Should anyone find a better performer than the LG (that fits!)Lmk please.
My worst fear for my ProVarinatti addiction is inavailibility of BT batts.
If you can find button top LG HG2, that will probably be the best modern battery for a Provari 2.5. The AW 18650 3000mah 20A battery is more than likely a re-wrap LG HG2, but its not a button top. Recently, AW factory shut down for an undetermined amount of time to deal with a flooding incident, so suppliers have been out-of-stock for a few weeks.

If you get desparate for button top batteries, there's always Efest.

LOL, I guess im opposite end of the spectrum, albeit great promo for ProVari still, since in years of devoted use (2.0, 2.5, P3,
Radius’) Id never required repairs until the past month when radius (prolly more hours than many) were sent in for R&R.
I am happy w/LG HG2 button tops
I never bought a mini- the only ProVari experience unknown to me.
Cheers

Among my two standard Provari's, a Mini Provari, and my P3, the Mini was my favorite, especially as an out-and-about vape device. I had to be sure to carry a couple of extra 18350 batteries with me if I was going to be out for a few hours. But it was a great pocket-friendly mod.

I loaned it to my daughter, and between either her or her brother it got lost. :(

I expect they're too old for spankings? ;)

I think my favorite provari is the Procyon, actually, but mainly because it just makes for such an excellent weapon. I DO travel with one everywhere I go. It got me and the kid talking about the merits of nightsticks vs Tasers though... I think a Taser has a slight advantage, other than the possibility of an accidental heart attack, I'd really feel bad about that, compared to a broken knee cap.

I also enjoy the way it vapes, don't get me WRONG. LOL.

I never spanked my kid. Sometimes he requested it, but the punishments I devised for him were far more cunning and obnoxious. I don't think there is anything WRONG with spanking as part of a reasonable (and infrequent) discipline plan with good parenting, but I just could never bring myself to do it.

I did "establish" for him, when young, that I could overpower him physically, but my therapist suggested it might be a good idea. She taught me an easy but harmless hold, on my lap, with the instructions: "Anna, this is your kid we're talking about, so the next time he's insubordinate, plan ahead. Go get a chair, some food, something to drink, and pee first, because it might take him about 2--4 hours to "concede" defeat.. LOL. She was very smart.

Once physical dominance is established in a young kiddo, well, that's all that is really needed, the rest can get creative. It did take my then 4 year old son about 100 minutes to "concede" and he tried every method (including the head ....) to get me to let go, but no one got hurt and since that time, my kiddo realized *I* was in charge. It was helpful.

I just refused to spank because my mom sucked at discipline. Chaotic, physical discipline in parents lacking skill is usually what causes an issue, if there is going to be one. I just could never spank my kid because I so clearly remember being spanked and thinking, "So, when I get big, I get to hit people?" Honestly a spanking would probably have been easier than the "contained hold," but I just could never bring myself to do it. By the time my kid got big enough to pick me up, he did it happily, but he'd usually just laugh, and go "I'm big."

Of course, with the dreadful bio dad, my husband got most of the "rage": etc. Not really fair, but there you go.

I didn't believe in spanking originally. During my divorce my son got really ornery. I broke down and spanked him once and he laughed. I had to leave the house because I was so angry.

I gave myself a little talk. He laughed because it meant he won. He won because I felt so bad about spanking him.

I decided that he was asking to be spanked. And, I don't mean he's asking for it. I mean that his behavior was specifically meant to provoke me to spanking him. I also decided that he was treating me too much like my ex. And, I was tired of being manipulated.

After that, I only had to spank him a few times because it was no longer funny. I no longer felt guilty. It was simple and matter of fact, without anger or guilt.

Sounds reasonable to me, like I said I think a judicious spanking here and there is fine coupled to a reasonable discipline system. I don't have any issues with spanking and it sounds like it was justified. I just chose to do without it. It was a bit more laborious at times, but any kiddo thinking themselves "more powerful" than their parents (at whatever age) is kind of a menace. I did essentially the same thing with the "hold" because my kiddo was getting a bit uppity for his age and "permission" level. LOL.

My mom was terrible at discipline, she'd just lose her mind and go nuts. She once broke a violin bow over my little brother's head and etc. That type of "physical discipline" is not so hot. Etc.

Fear is life's most effective deterrent.

My youngest got hand-whacked just once. That's all it took.

The 2nd boy, well, he's 40+ and STILL needs a beatin' now and then.

Oldest boy and daughter never needed a single smack.

But ALL of them knew it COULD come at ANY time. Therein lies the point. :)

Yeah, my daughter is 22 and my son is 23. I'm 64. My son is bigger and stronger than me. My ability to intimidate him flew the coupe a few years ago.

Agreed Baditude,
Once we've threatened w/death, its difficult to gain any leverage.

Thanks! Not THAT desperate!
I just ordered a couple 30Qs. At this writing we can get HG2, 30Q, Panny's.
W/out crystal ball for 6 months down the line....??

I suspect for you electrically engineered mindsets, you mightve devised work arounds eliminating the BT need?
Where I am, the exact BT receptacle is where condensation is prone (+98% humidity).

I will have to patiently watch and wait, see how we are later in the year, or 2019. (on a number of fronts LOL!). Somewhere, Someone will know what Andrew Wans intent might be.
Perhaps a someone will slide into the niche.

Id run panny flashlights (NCR Bs) b4 efest!
