First I've heard of it. They claim its a sound/shock-proof 808-style auto batt but, it has a much smaller airhole, so juice is not as likely to get inside it. Thus perhaps the higher price. The PCC is similar to the Volt's, but it screws in rather than just pops in. Bigicedogs does a review of it that might interest you:

I personally never had an issue with juice leaks in my 808, and it is also 3.7V regulated. I assume the batts are the same mAh as a regular 808. Perhaps some vet has tried one.

I see that it is priced identically to the VOLT, although Smoov charges an extra $5 for the longer 78mm batteries. The mAh is the same as VOLT, which is higher than the standard Kr8 battery: 220 vs. 180 for the 65mm and 320 vs. 280 for the 78mm. The obvious difference is the smaller air-hole in the Smoov battery, which may cause the airy draw Bigicedog describes.

As for the PCC (same price), I believe that all the newer PCCs of that style now are screw-in and accommodate both the 65 and 78mm batts. Taste of the prefilled cartomizers is unknown to me. I do know that VOLT recently upgraded theirs to Bloog Maxx Fusion quality, which has been my standard of Kr8 excellence (albeit a pricey one).

For a great deal on a Kr8 PCC kit, you may want to check out NHaler's $30 "M.F Style Mini PCC" kit (including one battery and three cartomizers), and then get one or more extra VOLT batts and packs of cartos from Smokeless Image.
