Hello.
I've just placed an order for my next batches of diy, I have always used cappella or flavourart but I have ordered from darkstar this time after buying my vg and nicotine there. Thought I'd get my concentrates there so it all comes from the same place.
Has anybody tried there 30ml one shot concentrates at all? Do I need to place an emergency order elsewhere or are they ok? Thanks for any help.

It looks like an interesting one-shot flavour line -

Flavour Concentrates - Shop

I'd like to hear your report on them once you try them. A quick glance indicates they are recommending mixing percentages between 20% to 22% so bear that in mind and age where necessary.

I imagine they are compounded locally - all sorts of new companies are jumping on the burgeoning DIY and commercial e-liquid industry bandwagon now. New ones are popping up all the time :).

I'll let you know when I mix them, I think they've been around for a while now I was going to order the nicotine and vg/oh a while back but ordered elsewhere.
Will post a report soon though, 1-3 days delivery.
Depending on what you ordered, some of the flavors look to be already a blend of the standard single flavors. Who knows which flavor manufacture they are using. Might want to test each Darkstar first as a stand alone.

Mixed the flavours up last night, strawberry lemonade, vanilla custard cream and Apple pie and custard. They all smell really nice, the custard flavours have 3 weeks recommended steep time and apparently strawberry and lemonade is able to vape straight away.
I only had time to drop a couple of blasts of one and I tried the vanilla custard, was quite a strong taste that wasn't balanced and will definitely give it some steeping before going back. When I get back I will drip the others and report...again I willreirt after steeping. Cannot argue with their nicotine and vg though, nicotine comes in glass that's full to the top so little air if you want to freeze.

I've ordered from Darkstar for along time.

About 3 months ago, when they first started doing the one shot flavours, I was sent a coupe of freebies. Athena stood out for me (Kiwi, Strawberry & Bubblegum if I remember)

Was actually very impressed! 20% and, for the first time ever for me, was an actual shack and vape.

Made 5 10ml bottles up, steeping all for varying time (except one I tried straight away) from 2 days up to 2 weeks and all tasted identical.

I'd recomend them. Try the smaller 10ml.

The strawberry lemonade is a shame and vape, can't try it til I'm back home tomorrow though. All 30ml and I've gotta say all smell awesome, plus darkstar nicotine is cheap and good. Packaged in glass too!

I've never had an issue with anything from them. Nicotine, VG & PG is really high quality. Not too sure I like these new Nicotine Shots they have recently advertised, seems really expensive and noticed other companies have found a loophole in upcoming TPD to still sell 500mg Nicotine bottles, so dont know if will still order nicotine from them unfortunately.

Did you check out the actual flavour concentrates? £3.50 for 30ml of Flavor Apprentice! That is really cheap and they are the genuine article. Have a great selection aswell.

No and I haven't even used fa sadly lol. Any recommendations? I always used flavour art but got sick of them, overrated a bit I think. But I want to try other like fa and cappella but I don't mix unfortunately, I'm pretty lazy like that so use pre mixed concentrates/one shots.
I think these new nicotine shots are ridiculous, flavourart have also jumped into that. Could I ask about the loophole and how I may purchase 500ml bottles in the future?

I solely use Flavor Apprentice now, found they are only consistently good flavours for me.

I couldn't recommend for a single flavour Im afraid, I only really mix. If you ever get into mixing though and want some good recipes, let me know, managed to make some fairly decent mixes, I get why you use flavour shots though, my first few months of mixing I mostly made vile horrendous liquids!

A few websites have interpreted the rules as 500ml or above of nicotine is classed as a wholesale supply as it's a larger amount so isnt covered under the TPD.

Our Plans for Nicotine Concentrate Under TPD Rules

I have never used this site so can't really comment on their nicotine etc but if they do it, can't see why other sites won't aswell.

Thanks for the link that's really useful,I need to get myself a few tops before may also.
If you send me some recipes I will actually use them, I just really don't want to go through the process of mixing then steeping for it all to be wrong. I'd really appreciate it.
I like making up coils because there is no drastic effect, instantly build again. Recipes though would be good.

So I mixed the darkstar shots up and all at 20% flavour, 85/15 vg/pg.
Apple pie and custard- this has a recommended steep time of 3 weeks, I have tried it though and I'm quite impressed by this. Taste of pastry is most prominent (its quite nice too)atm but Apple and custard are There, will steep and report.
Strawberry lemonade- apparently a shake and vape but needs steeping, light strawberry on the inhale with slight tang on exhale.
Vanilla custard cream-will hope this improves in steeping, extreme custard taste the clarts up the whole of the mouth.

I'm happy so far with the first 2, I'm hoping the last really changed in steeping. Will post last report when steeped. Overall quite happy.

Sound good. Glad you are getting on with them.

Anything that has a "Pie" or "Cheesecake" always has a strong flavour of those until steeped, find time will mute them a little and allow other flavours to shine more.

Vanilla Custard flavour always require long steep, even simple recipes. I have a 10% Vanilla Custard with 5% Sweet Cream steeping at moment, I've ultrasonic steeped it for a while and it's still not ready yet so I'm going to leave it for another week or two then try it again.

Just a really quick bit here, I won't repost until the 3 week steeping period finishes but I have dropped a little of the vanilla custard cream and it has changed significantly. It has became subtle,my mouth isn't being attacked by rough custard and it is now really smooth. Very happy with darkstar atm.
