So a lot of comparisons to things like the nautilus. N how does he kabuki compare to other tanks.

I'm not worried about vapor volume but density is nice. N

How does it compare to any of the following

Kayfun lite authentic or ehpro
Kayfun v4
Subtank with rba or 1.2-5 ohm coils
GEM
taifun gt2
Atlantis
Goblin mini
Lemodrop
Kanger evod/emow (I'd hope it makes a lot more vapor than this and tastes a lot better) I actually preferred the emow to the original nautilus.

Thanks for any direct comparisons mom still searching through this thread and others trying to decide.
Of these, I've used the KFL+V2, K4, SubTank, & Atlantis. I've also used a Triton and a Crown (and a bunch of RDAs).

The airflow on the Kabuki can be adjusted to be airier than the KFL+V2. I find the flavor, with a bit airier a draw, to surpass the KFL+. I also have a PlasmAir, and find the Kabuki and PlasmAir to offer equivalent flavor. The Kabuki is easier, though :)
For me, there is no comparison between the Kabuki and SubTank. The Kabuki's construction is leaps and bounds better, as is flavor. IMO (and only MO), the SubTank higher ohm coils don't function well. Ditto for the other sub ohm tanks. It, the Atlantis, Triton and Crown were designed for sub ohm vaping. I like all of these tanks for cloud production (especially the Crown, at .2 ohms), but not at all for tootle puffing. And of course, the difference in juice consumption is major.

The only tanks that provide the same flavor to my taste buds are small, top air flow RDAs, with domed top caps. There seems to be something about the size of the tank, air above coils, and the ability of vapor to swirl around in a dome that adds substantially to flavor. But, these are RBAs, modded for squonking -- an entirely different application. Not apples to apples, at all :)

For ease of use, form factor, quality, and especially flavor, the Kabuki wins. - for me. But that's the beauty of vaping: there's something for everyone!

HTH!

I find the kabuki to be a better flavour than the kfl+ at 1.5ohm. The other big factor with the kabuki is the ease, no coil to build, no rewicking... So its hard to just do a direct comparison to a rba without bearing that in mind.

Vastly better than the subtank at above 1ohm i agree

OK... Second effort here seemed to work. Kudos to USPS and oringsandmore for getting the 015 O-Rings to me so quickly! I ordered on Friday night or Saturday (can't remember) and I got them in the mail already with standard shipping.

It's been together for at least 10 min, and I've been puffing away. More importantly though, I've been watching and the bubbles are coming from where you expect them to come from (the coil). Last time with the smaller rings, the (big) bubbles were coming from the o-rings. It would lose vacuum every puff and ended up flooding.

So here it is... The first Kabuki with a (working) poly tank! Thanks @zen for the advice on o-ring size and a fantastic product!

Great job Stanley. I think I'm going to try this. Got link for the o-rings?

Awesome Job!!! Definitely a Winner!

+1 to this ^

Yep! I'll try to give the links. I got a few different ones and frankly I'm just using the ones that are on there because they were more grey which would closer to my mod color than the black.. So they were the first I tried.

The Viton material is on the Kabuki right now. The 70 seems to be the "best choice" in terms of squishiness and being all black, but I can only speak with certainty to the Viton ones, as they are on the Kabuki now. I'm willing to bet Zen has Buna 70 rings in the stock Kabuki (not sure what size they are).

I also have the on order in hopes they will match my Midnight Blue Radius (mod). I'll let you know how they work. The Viton seems (in a negative way) harder than the Buna 70. So long story short, if you're just buying one, I would guess that the Buna 70 from my order above would be the best choice, even though I didn't officially test them..

Edit - I didn't see the Silicone rings in the pack... Maybe they forgot them. They were red - which u thought could be kinda cool.. I'll look again shortly.

Just feeling them again/etc the buna 70 does feel the best for this application. Or the silicone. (And the silicone was in there. Haha I guess I was just anxious to try any of them).

I use Buna because I live in the cold climates... Viton gets hard at temps
below 5°F, and Buna just stays Flexible at those temps.

I'm in that same boat. I also only buy delrin drip tips because of the winters here in "good" Ole New England.

This should be the buna 70:

And I think this is the one that is currently on my Kabuki: http://www.oringsandmore.com/viton-rubber-orings-size-015-price-for-50-pcs/

And here's the silicone:

And again - Here's the poly:

Hey Stanley? Looks like you're hooked up with supplies pretty well now :) I'd be happy to help you defray the cost by getting one (stock sized) tube, and two sets of O-rings in the mail from you (good deal for both of us, I can't do the work, and I need a plastic tank, and PayPal to you to help cover your costs?).

Unless @Zen~ is going to offer a plastic replacement cap for us klutzy types? Please? I'll pay $$ for it.
I'd hope for Zen to offer something in the future? Mainly because it's his product and I'm just some yahoo in his garage with arguably incorrect tools for the job and no quality control/etc. Haha. It could bring on more potential "dropsies" like ourselves as Kabuki buyers for Zen!
