...Splain, Lucy. I've have nothing but great experiences with Sweet-Vapes, and I've purchased "a thing or two" from them.

Sweet-Vapes is one of the only sites I've seen who take a hard core stand about shipping. Their policy states that once they hand off to the shipper, they're done with you. My contract with a seller involves me paying them money, and them providing me with goods. There are too many other companies who will make sure I receive what is ordered. S-V says if a shipment doesn't get there I have a problem with the shipper - but to my mind it's S-V that has the problem and most other sites agree.

As for the recent problem, I ordered an eLeaf tank from them and it won't work without flooding. I finally found that if I steal a gasket from a coil and add it to the one already there on another coil, it will work. According to their site, their "warranty" is 24 hours for DOA only. Seriously? Forget about the 24 hours - I'd like to understand how a tank (or many other items on their site) could be DOA.

Yes, I checked with eLeaf. They replied that they'd never done business with S-V or they would be happy to replace the tank. They suggested I contact S-V to find out who their source was so I could contact them to see if anything could be done.

They might be fine if you never have a problem. They just don't seem to be the type of business I want to be spending my money on.

I WAS going to say that I must be THE most boring Kabukiuser ever, but Dru's in my classroom. Almost exactly the same, except a coupla dry pulls before I fire (which I do with basically everything except women).

Oh. Nevahmind (I'll have a crush on Gilda until they put me into the ground).

I'm in the same classroom. But I usually end up flooding mine, then I have to get a Q-Tip to swab up the excess in the tube.

I don't like sweet vapes policies (and got burned just last week) so I don't buy there unless it's an absolute necessity.

Try Vape Super Saver as they're very efficient and have good customer service. They also discount the coils according to the amount of boxes you buy.

Others have mentioned My Freedom Smokes Electronic Cigarettes | E-Liquids but they had some problems with customer cards being compromised. They have said it's fixed but I haven't been back to check. A few months ago they changed their marketing to a "vapebro" sort of things and prices were slowly inching up. Watch their site if you're interested since they do a 40% off sale on coils a couple of times a year.

I NEVER use my "real" credit card number on any vape purchases anymore. Had some issues a few times and don't like cleaning things up. TO mentioned a while ago about the disposable numbers and I've been using them ever since. Haven't had any problems since then.

Thank you!

Potentially valuable information, and very much appreciated.

Good advice. When I got hit 3 times in 6 months (once on the replacement card!) I stopped being stupid and started using the virtual numbers my Citi card offers. It was nicer when I could maintain the balance between cards but now the Citi is the only one I use online.

Will you please keep us posted on this? I've always thought S-V was big on selling authentic everything.

GG, what is a "vapebro"?...

From Geezer's Abridged Dictionary of Language That Has Passed Him By:

Alternate spelling: Vape Bro

Think "chucking mad cloudz", "sick modz", a fedora perhaps, maybe a buzz cut and untrimmed beard, lots of tattoos, various and plentiful piercings in the terminal cases.

I could go on but don't wish to offend any more readers than I already have.

I never understood the need or desire to draw on ones-self?!?

Me too. VERY well presented, GG, and something that had passed ME by (the shipping policy). I wish they offered "insurance" (like SureVape), because this creates a purchasing dilemma for me. Pay more up front, or take a chance and hope everything works out?

Again - very much appreciated, and kudos for the rational (and sound) explanation.

I think the GS Air I received was probably authentic but flawed. I have the impression that eLeaf was indicating that S-V got the tank from a distributor or middleman and that one of those two was expected to take care of the problem.

Once again, though, I think it's passing the buck - much like the S-V shipping policy. I mean, it was only a $15 item ($20 with shipping) so it's not the end of the world.

I should note that Sweet-Vapes offers to sell you shipping insurance from a 3rd party I've never heard of. However, the list of exclusions to the insurance coverage is about a full page in length. And I do a lot of internet shopping without having ever seen them offered before.

Ahhhhhh.... ok. Hopefully no one is offended. I know I'm not! :)

"Do you even VAPE, bro?"

Neckbeards.

And thank you for the information and explanation re: S-V. Good to know. I've shopped there, and ticked off the little box, but in the moment didn't even recall that.

Gots it!
