Girl how I manage to have the page up so I could get this tip during Zens' sale. I was a lil early so figured I'd sit here & watch some tv. Well damn if the tv didn't start watching me!
You know I was thoroughly ...... to wake up & they were all gone!!!!!

I blame my sheer exhaustion on my g*d. I came into possession of something very disturbing so by then my brain had all it could take.

Oh Scandal...... sorry. :(

I'm sure they'll be restocked tho, don'tcha think?

At some point I want to search out a vendor who will do a discount on a brick of them

That's what happened to me. I had 15 in my cart and got $9_and change of?! Wha da hel....lo! Backed out (remembering the 2 limit DP talked about earlier) and bought 2 boxes. See - they lost money on me. Shame really...whats the diff in me buying 15 packs and doing it 2 at a time to different folks? Oh well...
I think that at the 40% off, the coils are what we used to call a loss leader sale item. You price a couple things so low that you are either making nothing on them, or even loosing a little bit of money. The loss leaders are there to get folks in the door, and hope they buy other stuff that has a decent margin on it. We used to call the folks that came in and only bought the loss leaders, cherry pickers. I really don't mind the limit, whenever I see one of their sales I get a few packs and am happy, other times I'll get other things I might need too.

I got 8 packs of coils for $54.96, with no shipping cost. I knew to watch (thanks, DP!) and did back out several packs. Sweet Vapes also has a sale - 15% off. I got 20 packs of assorted coils, there. All in all, mission accomplished. I'm happy, too.

OMG, I attempted to order again from MFS and it's taken 40 minutes. I get to the last part and press the button to complete order and I get a receipt for the credit card authorization but nothing from MFS. And my shopping cart still shows the items, like I haven't checked out. I check my account to see if the order shows up and it doesn't. So, I'll have to remember to call on Monday and see what's up. Their website is so slow it's ridiculous.

Ouch!

They're a good company, and I'll continue to buy from them. But I hope this is the last (and ONLY) time they do it like this. I'm hoping it was a mistake.

LET'S GET 'EM, K2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :headbang:

I used to buy a lot from them and then my credit card got compromised. Then the replacement card, too. I suspected it happened with them and in fact they released a statement later that they found the intrusion and fixed it. Problem is, I bought stuff after that "fixed" date.

As for this sale, I have seldom seen such inept stumbling. It was advertised originally to go live at midnight Thanksgiving, but it didn't. Even though the email never mentioned a flash sale, I finally got another email with a timestamp of 11/27/15 3:16 pm which contained the coil sale code and also that it would expire at midnight tonight.

I found the email in my spam folder since it was sent from myfredomsmokes.com (note spelling) and hadn't been approved by my anti spam software. Seriously? They can't spell their own domain name correctly?

Then we get to the barely functional, limping, zombie paced website and I get hit with $9 as 40% off. No mention of a limit. Got disgusted and quit trying. I came back a few hours later and now the red band at the top of the page mentioned a limit of two. I would have just given up but it was turning into a question of principle.

You know, MFS does this sale a few times a year. According to my records the last one was in June and did indeed have the two item limit. But at no point did I ever have so many problems just getting the site to work. And the purchase limit was clearly spelled out.

The really ironic part of this is that the everyday price at Vape Super Saver is 10.49 a box with no limit. In fact, they offer a quantity discount with 2 boxes being at 9.99 and 3 or more at 9.50. Plus, shipping is free with a minimum of a $15 order.

Yes, the MFS sale was quite a bit cheaper. But consdering the limit of 2 (4 if you'll take both resistances) and the time I spent I think I outsmarted myself trying to prove a point.

If all that wasn't bad enough, during checkout the page offered to use the credit card on file - which was the original compromised number. I NEVER checked a box to save the number to the site (I never ever do that) and I can't see any way to remove it.

(edit) I found a place to delete the card info on the site so it seems I went off halfcocked on that bit of whining.

Using current language (which no doubt is already passe), so much fail!

I'm not sure if they are capable of selling a brick of Nautilus coils at a time, but the best non-BF site I've found is Vape Super Saver They do offer lots of 50 coils of other varieties so they may be willing to do the same for Nautilus.

The regular price is 10.49 a box; buy two and it's $9.99 each. and three or more are $9.50 each. Free tracked shipping over $15

I've done business with them in the past and can recommend them. Their goods are genuine. I had a slight snag on an order a while ago and Jenny in customer service bent over backwards to make things right. They're in Georgia thus fast shipping up to the flaws of the USPS.

Thank you @GeekyGeezer

I could have sworn somewhere, maybe mfs a year ago had palettes of nautilus coils. Maybe i just got kabuki fever and had a nice dream 1 night that now masquerades as real memory...
