I had a panic attack reading the comments that the new Triton mini coils are too big to fit in the 510 Kabuki so ran off to see how many nautilus coils I have. Hopefully @Zen~ will come up with a solution whether it be a new insulator or something else after he has had a chance to evaluate the coils.

Anyhow my BF purchase isn’t as exciting as some of the others. Other than the white Gertrude drip tip, basically spare parts such as the quartz tanks, o-rings, positive pin, air flow adjuster screw.
Those are good black friday purchases too!!!

Yeah, any vape purchase is a good one especially essential items such those. :thumb:

Hows life at the new place Gin?

Great! Thanks for asking! Only bad thing is everything (phone, bathroom, etc.) is 5 miles away. Lol I better keep my ProVari in my hand when moving around. To many times I put it down and can't find it. Get my exercise looking for it... Same with a can of pop. The Mail Lady is already tired of delivering to the door and has started stuffing the mailbox to the point where she can't shut it. Lol We love it though. I just turned 49 on the 30th and this is my first house. Jackie and I got married on the 9th of November.

Well, the first photos of the Triton Mini coils were awful. I'm no photographer and they were much too blurry to be of use.

Unfortunately, I have bad news. I can't get the coils to give me any sort of a decent vape even in a Nautilus. Trying to fit them in a Kabuki will have to come later.

As I mentioned earlier, the coils have a visibly larger inside diameter than the Nautilus we've come to enjoy. That may cause the issues I'm having. It's a very strange sensation as at my normal settings I get no warmth or vapor but can taste the ejuice.

Bumping up the temp helps a bit but it's still a very diluted experience for me. I can also increase the wattage but that doesn't help much - even to the point where the vapor is uncomfortably hot. In addition I'm still getting a slight cotton taste. I've had to close the air control to the smallest hole (I'm usually doing the largest) in order to get any vape at all. We all know these aren't cloud-chasing tanks but until the settings are just a bit too hot I only get wisps of vapor.

I noticed when priming that the filler seemed to be very different than a Nautilus. When I dripped a few drops into the coil, I didn't see the rapid absorbtion I"m used to. Nor did I see the occasional bubble escape from the side holes. At this point, the tank's been filled for a couple of hours so I don't think it's a dry coil issue.

Honestly, the Nautilus now vapes about like any of the subohm tanks I've bought and been unable to use. I just can't get the draw balanced properly, let alone assess the taste.

Again, these are the NI200 coils so maybe the Kanthal are going to be OK. Right now, I'm pretty pessimistic about that happenning. I really would like to hear others' experiences as the Triton Minis become more available.

So what is the range?

Before i read also in this topic most people are in the 6-10 range.

I've also tried 15 but no better results.

Thanks btw for your help, really appriciated!
I also was into higher wattage and sub ohm tanks but since I've gotten my Radius and Kabuki I'm enjoying lower wattage. I usually run my Radius between 11-12 watts with the airflow opened wide and the flavor is spot on. I've just started vaping a new flavor from Nerdcore called believe which is a Baked Pear, Pastry, Whipped Cream flavor and it's tasting awesome at 12 watts. Also remember that Aspire makes new Nautilus coils with bigger air holes and natural cotton that may help. My Kabuki came with the older coils.

Great 'review', GG. I'm interested somewhat to hear about the Kanthal coils. These NI coils sound like a hassle at best tho right now.

The Triton coils are a hassle for sure. The reason I'm so disappointed is that the Vapor Shark N1200 coils drop in and work perfectly. THey're made by the same company that makes the coils for Aspire and seem to be identical to the Kanthal other than the nickel wire (obviously) and the blue o-rings.

I may be worrying prematurely, but my experience today makes me fearful that Aspire is going full-on into the windtunnel version of vaping just like all the others. I truly hope that some accountant doesn't decide that two versions aren't needed so let's just make only the new one we spent money on.

Sadly, my HoH BF haul is languishing at my brother's house in Cali...will be some time before it arrives. Picked up a couple more GM Kabuki Z2's for the Geisha, drip tips (Althea but no Ionizers :() and more spare parts (can never have enough).

Speaking of the Geisha, here's a pic...I'm in love with this sexy vixen! And the OCD juice is pretty tasty as well.

Those are fine purchases indeed. Grabbed several sets of O-rings along with some various and sundry Kabuki parts myself.

Ha! Am I the only one who still loves my Minis? Yes, frequent charging is a must, but c'mon.... they're Minis!
The Mini w/18350 was just too small for my hand...could never get used to it. I run them w/18490's and it's a perfect fit. ;)

Enjoy every vape, Siam, in any size. :)
You know I love my Minis! Currently waiting on 10 more AW 18350 batteries to use with my Vixen Hybrids sos for the time being - they are sporting silver extensions and in 490 mode. Besides - I only have one Serenity leather holder and it's 18490/500 size.

I use my minis 90% of the time, and will now use my Classic in 18350 mode just as often. Usually one in the chamber and two in an efest carrying case will get me by on any given day. Don't really care for mega tubes myself.

Man the pic really makes me regret not jumping on a Geisha. Btw is there anywhere that carries spare parts besides Zen? Seems kinda silly paying $6 shipping for a few o rings.

Also kind of worried about atties myself, I'm not exactly flush but every time I buy any kind of vape gear I add at least 2 boxes of nauti BVCs. I CANT run out. Twould be a sin.

But I will share one of my BF hauls.

This little beauty..... a GMZ Mini Ionizer, complete with ZenArt!

Thank you, @Zen~

VERY much appreciated!!!

(gotta tell you guys..... I have a "few" drip tips. But the Ionizers are quickly becoming faves. They work soooooooooo well to give an abstolute perfect draw on the Kabooks. And they are stylin'..... big time!)

Kat, I agree on Ionizer. The Mini Tower is good too. And I even have a regular tower on order. I'm going to put it on a Kabuki on the one P3 I'm running in 18650 mode. Should look crazy!
