I wasn't trying to do that, HB, but your last line is no different than what I feel. I was just saying that I'd like the opportunity to TRY a larger one, and do my own comparison. And I don't want it for free, but would have been willing to pay for it.

I know it's not happening, as you clearly stated, but I can still openly state that I'd pay for it. Zen once said that I gave up too easily, back when I was lobbying for a 510 threaded GMZ Kabuki (that wasn't going to happen either). So, I began lobbying again.

Lo & behold, I am now the proud owner of a 510 threaded GMZ Kabuki!

So yeah, I'm not dreamin', but I'm not giving up either. Not yet, anyway.

I don't see why he couldn't split the difference between the Kabuki and the nautilus. Make it 3.5ml.

Guess I'm not going to get to play on the island. :(
2mls works out great for me. I rarely use the same mod and tank during the day. Usually I rotate between six devices. Even when I leave the house, I take two devices and 4mls will last me more than a day. :)

That's OK. We're an inclusive group, and there are plenty of coconuts. Take your tiny tanks and swim on over. ;)

Let's face it. 2ml is tiny, and the Kabuki isn't the most convenient refill in the world...tight o-rings combined with reports of glass breaking during refills, the occasional coil stuck in the chimney...yeah, if the flavor wouldn't take a big hit, I'd like to see a larger one too. That said, I like the Kabuki and plan on buying a Ti when it comes out, and a small 2 ml tank does have it's place, but there is a reason top fill is such a big thing now, and it makes smaller tanks like the Triton mini and Kayfun mini v3 more bearable than they would be otherwise.

I HATE when the coil gets stuck in the chimney... Once in awhile, if I am careful, i can leave the coil there and screw it back on after I have refilled it... if not, i need to take apart the whole damn thing and get some needle nose pliers to twist it out. Ugh.

Of course you can, Sir Rod. That's a given.

So you're saying that you'd like a bigger one too?

Well, I guess I'd be lying if I said size doesn't matter, but then, oh, um, what are we taking 'bout????? :sneaky:

In all seriousness, if'n Zen could make a Kabuki that held more juice, but didn't diminish flavor, I'd be all over that bad boy. I just doubt he can.

I've got a system with my Kabuki that works for me. I have juice with me at work and I really don't have any issues refilling. I use a paper towel to hold the base as I manage the first turn and then it comes off easily. I've never had a coil get stuck in the chimney, but then since I read that others have, my routine also includes making sure the coil is still tightened in place after I refill it. If I'm going out, I just make sure I always leave with a full tank.

I wouldn't go without you.

I would be so sad if'n you guys went without me, so thank you dear Kat! We'z gonna have fun on our island!!

Love all that you said, Stealthy.

Top fill is making me giggle. We had top fill. Everyone wanted bottom fill. Now top fill "rules".

Provi slant caps, awesome. Nope, we want flats. Now with the advent of the flowrings, we're back to slants.

And the beat goes on!

There's no doubt that he can do it. The question is which other coil head would he design it around?

I have absolutely no clue on the engineering aspects of the Kabuki or coils in general, but I'm wondering if the Triton mini coils might be used to construct a larger capacity tank without the associated flavor loss.

My Kabukis work quite well as they are and the P3/510 adapter has solved the leaky coil issue I was having. The 3ml size is compact and filling is too easy to be a problem. I liked the Nutilus Mini better than the full size and was willing to give up capacity for performance. The Kabuki tops them both IMHO.
