Folks please jump in at any time!!! I've been thinking about this a lot. This isn't directed towards those that think the Kabuki is great as it is.If the top cap had a milled groove in it, like the top cap of a KFL+V2, it could add capacity, but not change the dimensions of the tank.
Example picture:

Imagine the top cap of the Kabuki being milled out, similar to this KFL top cap.
Sure the space would be small, but it would be space for more juice...
I'm sure Zen thought of all this, and again, this all hinges on his experimentation with juice capacity and how it affects the coil.
I'm 2 2 jelly!!! [emoji106] [emoji6]That's 2 2 Funny!!!

We all know taste is subjective....right?....right!!!
Has it occured to anyone that the design of the Kabuki is based on Zen's profile & we all don't vape the same?
I keep reading how HE said smaller capacity is ideal.....ideal for who? Many of us with larger capacity tanks don't take a hit in vapor or flavor so I am trying my damndest to understand how a 2 ml tank is ideal for the masses?
And it seems if anyone wants a larger capacity 'Buki they're going to have to look outside of Zen cause he made it crystal clear he's never gonna do it.
Since we're talking length, all that would be needed (I think) is a longer tank & a stem attachment (like the one for the RDA Cubis coils) to reach the coil.
Thoughts????
Note 5!!!
The reason I wouldn't lobby-Da stand! DA STAND!!!! I love(d) that stand as well. MY organizational skills .... welp, let's just say it did not work out well for me. But I love DPL's.
I am.
(deal wid it)
(or do something with sox)
HB, I like your ideas of the extra capacity via the top cap, and Scandel, you made sense with all that you said as well.
As Zen has clearly said no to changing the size, perhaps it's best to enjoy the Kabuke as it tiz, and simply utilize other, more spacious tanks for other needs.
Or keep lobbying.
We're a pretty determined bunch, ZenMaster.![]()

People need to accept that it's ok to buy from other companies if the one you swore allegiance to is no longer satisfying your (not you) advanced vaping style.
Note 5!!!
Ohhh I've got the space for it all right & an item for every slot & hole in it. Right now, I got ish all over the place. I didn't used to be this disorganized with all my vape stuff but the past 1 1/2 yr has been a whirlwind leaving me very little time to gather my thoughts.I will only say to proceed with caution (based on Kat's previous "love" and the subsequent actual realities that ensued).
But if you're CERTAIN that you've got the space for it, it does makes things easier.
We have an option already, spend our money elsewhere on something that does work for us. I am one who likes to change it up anyways, one day I may load up three PT2's, another day I may just grab my REO, another I may be vaping my Russian 91 or even a ZAP or ZAU attie. Maybe I'll grab my Subtank mini with an Aspire BVC coil or the rebuild deck, or one of my Cerotanks...they all work, and all have their own plusses and negatives. I love my Kabuki tanks and they are always ready to go, but so are several other setups. It's all goodFolks please jump in at any time!!! I've been thinking about this a lot. I have sworn no allegiance to any one company, nor do I see that in my future. I love choices!![]()
As I await the arrival from you of my t-shirt, you've got to tell me how you did that animated emoji bit. That's really neat!
