Need help guys ! I got my first 510/P3 Kabuki yesterday. I used it first on P3, it is fantastic vape. Then I tried to use it in 510 mode on my VF or Provari or Radius, it is not firing. All shows OP. Any tips ?
I have 4 P3 Kabukis and 1 of the P3/510 adapters. The adapter doesn't work very well IME. It doesn't like different 510 pin lengths.

Take the adapter off of the Kabuki, Push the adapter center pin from the kabuki side to the 510 side with something (fully pushing the silver part).

Reattach Kabuki to the adapter, then screw the assembly on to your mod of choice (firmly).

Jim

PS, You may have to repeat this process with other mods.

My 2 VVTFs arrived today.

They look like a treat to build on to say the least. I am waaayyyyy too hung over to even attempt dealing with these today.

I am hoping they work well in any case.

I'll report back once I get these built and loaded in a Nautilus and a Kabuki

Please with pictures too :)

Thank you, sweetie. I do appreciate the brain pick, and the info. The Stealths shared a video with me, with a guy who used r-nr-r wire. He's rather into his whole thing (translate: hair), but I lost it when he turned green. I don't think it's good for a Scot to turn green... ;)

Amazing.
I have some r-nr-r wire and silica for my byLeo Sophia rebuilds. Going to have to try this, and if I live through it I'll let you all know what happened.

Please do, NY13!

I congratulate all of you who are willing to even attempt a build on the VVTF. I was graciously gifted one by one of our Provi darlings here, and have yet to do more than look at it...... in horror!

My magnifying glasses need magnifiers.... yikes! That thing is TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENSY.

I was able to get my second build to fire.
It's been working fine. I don't see any improvement over a regular Nautilus coil...at least not how I build!

The resistance seems to fluctuate, as the upper wire mount is weird.

But it does work.

Far better than the Atlantis rebuildable decks I picked up!

Man, I hate these coils!

Spent a good hour trying vertical coils (almost impossible to secure both coil ends) and horizontal (almost impossible to wick).

After mangling 3 coils, I finally managed to get a horizontal build installed and wicked. It read just inder 1ohm, but the draw was super tight and flooded the tank and I got a nice mouthful of juice.

After I rewicked, my Radius wouldn't recognize the coil. I slapped it on another mod and it read 0.1ohm. Weird as nothing was touching anywhere it shouldn't, the coil was secure, etc.

In any case, I won't be buying more and will only pull these out of my rainy day vape drawer if Nauti prebuilts are gone and there isn't a better RBA solution available.

These CAN be built and used properly, but the deck is so tight, the screws are crappy, it is hard to wick and it is really hard to properly secure the ends and actually know that the bottom end is in and screwed down properly.

This is definately not for a newbie. I am pretty good with this kinda stuff, but I would rather build a Kanger RBA blindfolded and one hand tied behind my back than build on the VVTF.

YMMV, but "not for the faint of heart" is very accurate IME.

Good luck with that. My patience ran out long before I could build that dern thing with any reliability.

I really really really wanted it to work and I spent lots of time and was super patient with these things.

I just don't see it as a realistic long term fix to Nauti prebuilts potentially becoming unavailable OR as a way to save money.

If someone enjoys stress and breaking things, buy a bunch of these. :)

Lastly, the quality isn't there. Even if it was a dream to coil/wick and they vaped perfectly, I really wouldn't expect these to withstand months/years of rebuilding. Things like the top coil end having to be cut between tank facing threads, the terrible flat head screw that is supposed to hold the bottom coil leg secure, etc., just not a quality piece IMO. Too bad as it would be a godsend if it worked flawlessly.

Oh now I'm SUPER excited to try to build one.
