Actually to be correct and complete (korrekt and komplete), I have been using only the Radius and only the Kabuki for the last 2yrs or so. I enjoy this (Kombo) combo that much! Only the one juice (GVC of kourke) at 9 watts. Call (kall) me boring...

LOL (on da "K's).

I hit four very different tanks almost on a revolving basis each day. I cannot relate, Mr. Underscoresee. ;)

Since you invoked @Katdarling , I figured I'd invoke something she might have come up with. I'm glad you liked it! :D

Gee, I wasn't too sure folks would get the hint, hence the "**" at the bottom.

Same here. Generally 3-4 different flavors in a few different style tanks and mods.

Tonight is Radius/Kabuki, Smok G-Priv/TFV8 and a Gus mech/Griffin. Between 12w and 120w as well. Fun to mix it up!

I bought a pack of Triton mini coils a while ago, but didn't do much with them.
Trying one a couple of days ago and it was good. Not sure if it was better, but it was good. A bit warmer and I think more vapor, and maybe (but I'm not sure) more flavor. Pretty weaselly words, but to be sure I'd need the same juice in two Kabuki's with the Triton mini in one and the BVC in another. No time at the moment. In my opinion, no worst than the usual Aspire coils.
Anyway, MyFreedomSmokes is selling them for $7.95 a pack. Pretty good.

Quick update on my Kabuki replacement tank quest.

Fasttech sent me a pack of 5 glass tanks that finally arrived 2 weeks later.

None of them fit my genuine Kabuki.

All have a larger internal diameter than the original tank, and leave a gap around the original o-rings that allows the ejuice to leak out in seconds.

They are also longer than the original glass.

Money and time wasted. (Currently being jerked around by fasttech customer "service" but resolution is unlikely)

I haven't been able to source genuine Kabuki glass down here in Australia, and minimum shipping cost from US has been around $30 on top of the cost of the glass.

Unfortunately it looks like my kabuki is now retired :(

On a positive note I've ordered an Aspire Nautilus as a replacement (cheaper than a genuine Kabuki replacement glass) so I can have a backup tank that uses up my stock of BVC coils :)

In summary. Fasttech customers - caveat emptor :nah::nah:

So loose the top and bottom fall out

The owner of a local B&M gave me one of them coils to try, I liked it, yes more vapor, a little warmer, but then I opened up the airflow and just drew more air. They give a little more punch, so I've been keeping a Kabuki set up with one for getting a quick nic fix when I am busy.

Hi All,

My first post on here, I wonder if we shall stay on topic on this thread now (it's taken me two days to read it !)

A little about me, newish to vaping, been off the smokes since August after 35 years and upto 2 packs a day, picked up an aspire k2 kit and not touched a smoke since, within a week and after lots of resource I had purchased two mods, an Eleaf 100w and an istick 40w (my main mod as like to be discreet) I have 3 nautilus x tanks all using the 1.8 coils and expansion tanks, I also have a triton mini (but get more vapour/flavour/satisfaction from the Naut X)

After a few months of daily alternating between the 3 X's using my 3 fav flavour's I kept getting the need/want/desire for more flavour.

So again after lots of resource I came across the Kubuki and just felt I had to give it a go.

So the Kubuki turned up today and first impressions are;

Build quality is excellent.
Vapour production is really good for a MTL.
Flavour is a step up from what I have been using, and seems to be getting better as the coil beds in.

However;

I think I will be filling it quite a bit as it doesn't hold as much juice as my usual setup.
I'm finding the driptip supplied is a bit wide for my liking (also struggled to get it off at first, but ok now ?)

So not too bad in the great scheme of things, I'm already thinking that I will completely fall for this tank over the next few days as I get used to the more constant filling and maybe change the driptip if I can get the damn thing off lol

Lastly it comes with the aspire BVC 1.6 coil, for me the sweet spot seems to be up above 14w - is that a bit too much for this coil especially as the istick is showing that as 4.97v - someone's help on this would be appreciated even if it's just to put my mind to rest.

Congrats on getting off the smokes and welcome to the Kabuki Family.

I generally have a number of tanks going at one time so refilling is not an issue for me. I understand what you are saying about the drip tips. I don’t use them myself and I did find them difficult to remove. Try rocking it back and forth while pulling it out at the same time. If that doesn’t work, I have been known to take small pliers and just yanked it out. Others may have some recommendations as well. The chart below gives the ranges of the various Aspire coils although some people may have gone out of range.

Welcome Welsh Exile.:)

Good job on going through this whole thread! Threads can get chatty, but there is usually someone around who will answer any questions you may have, too.

I can't really add to NotSoMini's excellent response.

I too do not use the provided tip, though some love it. I just attempt to rock and yank it out with needle nose pliers. I've salvaged and destroyed tips doing it this way.

Enjoy experimenting.

I usually use the 1.8 Nauti BVC, but I often use it at lower voltage than the chart recommends.

It's always best to vape what seems best for you and your taste, not what a chart or even a wattage display says and these things should be used as a guideline, not law.

I personally do not notice a difference between 1.8 and 1.6, but as always, your mileage may vary. My experience with the Triton Mini coils is that they don't last as long and are a bit warmer, so the air flow needs to be opened up to adjust to my preferences.

Hello,

Thank you guys! Been vaping also for about 6 months and this thread convinced me to get a Kabuki (actually 2) to pair it with the Radius.

It works great, and I hope it will be used as much as the Kayfun 5 (which has been my main atty). I will have to figure out how to get replacement o-rings and tanks for I live in Mexico and is hard to get vaping stuff.

I looked at NotSoMini chart and got worried because I ve been using the 1,6 coils at 10 watts ¿is that too much?

I also wanted to ask you if 30pg/70vg juice is OK for the Kabuki, I usually use a 40pg/60VG blend bt wanted to try another mexican brand that nly makes the 30/70
