You're killing me Juma. I realize good research can't be rushed but I got ants in my pants to see if they work in the Kabuki bases/P3's that wouldn't fire all coils. Please take your time though, seriously...

Give me until this evening. I'll know for sure then if there are any problems with the Kabukis. The replacement base from HoH arrived today. I also received the Cisco Spec coils too. Gotta get back to the mine. Stay tuned.

Yeah, I'm waiting on my last Stealth replacement base. Going to get Jackie a Stealth after me have moved and will be there for deliveries. For all the money we spent, she gets frustrated by that K4....

Yeah, even using the KFL+ is frustrating for me now, and that's what I used to get me off smoking! I find for me, the "glorified carto tanks" of yesteryear only do well with certain liquid viscosities that just aren't made anymore. everything is now high VG, which is ok for some setups, but miserable for ones like the Kayfun line. I was surprised, having never used a nautilus, that the kabuki wicked and vaped so well without any real setup or preparation using a VG heavy mix. A testament to the maker, fo' sho' , but also a testament to the technological advances of the pre-built coil (even WITH the thread slop).

Here are some scans of the brochure and the box from the third-party coil supplier in CA. I must say, so far I'm impressed. Ordered on Friday, arrived on Monday. $12.99 for a five-pack, including postage. They look well-made. I'll have to give a report later on how well they work.

Is it later yet?? Oh we DO want your report, please! :)

HUH? Everything is high VG now? My vliquids sure aren't. In fact, I vape some that are high PG. This just happens to be another area of the market that has left me scratching my head. High VG is best for clouders, no? A very small segment of the vaping population, yet it seems it's being thrown on and at us.

I only know of one brand that has greater than "50%" (whatever that really means) PG. In past experience mixing my own UFNB (I'm horrible with flavors), the Kayfun style atomizers seem to thrive on higher PG than that (or at least thinner juice). Halo seems to be the only brand I can definitively state has >"50%" PG.

Where are you getting yours, and do they have some not-so-sweet liquids?

High VG is better for some styles of atomizers. The type that seems to be in the highest demand at the moment. I prefer it in my all-day BF mods, but not in my Tanks or Gennies. It's sad that some trends have dictated the availability of almost the whole market. Careful mixing of UFNB with Nicoticket has produced some great results...

It's coming from RDA's, where it's nice, but doesn't always translate well into a tank depending on the tank.

I'll answer for Katdarling -- PV Liquids.com -- for Nite Lite Vapor. All are premixed (no steeping required) and at a 65pg/35vg ratio.

None of the flavors are overly sweet -- a requisite for me, as well and one reason I've been a steady customer for quite some time. No oohey gooey buttercake with candy icing for my vapes!

I do love their top sellers --- Gold and Bounty Hunter -- but enjoy much of the line. Just pick what sounds good to you. Fresh strawberry perhaps? NLV4ya? Apricot Brandy?

Personally, I also am quite disappointed that the trend is going to mostly VG --- ICK!!! I can't vape it even one Kabuki amount in a day without physical reaction, though I can go through a few tanks of NLV!

Moxie, I am truly not sure who carries what percentages at this point, but I've always vaped vliquids that were 50PG or more. I normally vape 95% NiteLiteVapor (as most people on this forum prolly know), and as tearose said, it's always that perfected percentage of 65/35 PG/VG. For me it's the ideal balance between good vapor and great flavor and wonderful TH. It's also the most coil friendly liquid I've ever used.

I also don't aim for the clouds. PG carries flavor and that's really what I'm after. The 35% VG gives just the right amount of vapor without diminishing the flavor or throat hit.

None of NLV's vliquids are sweetened in any way, but some have their own intrinsic sweetness even tho not added. tearose mentioned the site where they are available. I will say I am a huge fan of their line up, and have been for several years now. I was intrigued with the fame of "Bounty Hunter" back in 2011 when it won for one of the best of eliquids of the year.

I got some and never looked back (after spending nearly a life's savings on other liquids).

I do think that high VG is the desired liquid for clouders, and that makes total sense to me. I happen not to cloud. :)

Like the trend to "graduated" gear, I do also take issue with the trend to high or max VG liquids. But more and more I do so quietly, as my opinion is just my opinion and hardly worth any more than anyone else's. Ya know? ;)

I actually checked them out already ( after reading tearose's comment) and am intrigued by bounty hunter and renegade. I'll be ordering some up soon. And if they're awful.... I KNOW WHO TO BLAME!!!! [emoji48]

J/k. It's refreshing to hear from the non-maxvg crowd. I've been looking for some good kayfun liquid since.... Well pretty much since I got it about 13 months or so ago. It's the tank that got me off smokes using my semi-local b&m's mystery ingredient juice. It was good, but their labeling and knowledge of the ingredients used by the lab that mixed it left much to be desired.

Back to kabuki time! Apologies for the inadvertent hijack.

I ran some passioncake (50/50) out of mine until the glass broke, and it wicked surprisingly well! Sometimes, the nicoticket flavoring thickens the juice and hampers wicking. The combination of air flow control setting and large wick holes seem to be just right though!

What, no GOLD? ;)

Actually, add a bit of Sinn Rollz to that order, then blame me in the morning.

If you find them "awful", I think I know about 97,000 peeps you can forward them to. :D

Seriously, if you do taste test them, I hope you enjoy them as we do.

I'm with you on the non max VG crowd, yet I'm becoming more hesitant to say that and to continue to be blasted for being old skool.

Yet, I'll stand firm with what I like, Forum influence be, ummm, darned.

One of my main Kabuke vapes is an VERY high PG vliquid. Yummmmmmmmmm.

@Katdarling , DIY 65/35 'er here! Early on I started going higher VG and wound up with heavy feeling lungs and a cough...way too many years on the smokes I guess. so started upping the PG and lo and behold, wound up right back to about where I started at (70/30) .

So my sample order for coils from Vaperwerx is back-ordered and they tell me now that they won't have coils until the end of the month. This surprises me because some people that ordered Friday got theirs on Monday, while my order has been charged to my card.

When I compound that with the misleading marketing statements "Americas best coils" while they are made in China, yeah... the writing is on the wall for this experiment.

I just informed them that we won't be doing business with them, and considering how it all went down, I have to say, let the buyer beware.

I, for one, am not surprised...not in the least.
I'm sorry you had to experience that, Zen...
It's sad that there are so few reliable, no "bowlsheet" companies out there!
I just don't understand why it's so hard to just do things the right way, make an honest buck, and gain a loyal following!

Has anyone thought of making a rebuildable coil?..i know that these Kabukis are made to be easy to use with the nautilus coils but i've noticed there's something wonderful happening
with these in the flavor dept,i taste butter, beer, stale wine, strong tea-milk,prunes,brown sugar in my bobas bounty,i'm thinking that a good rebuildable coil, say made from Zentanium would be
a great seller…or just a couple dozen made for say a hundred bucks each?.
