3 Kabuki's on 18350 devices with wide open air flow running Black Ice, Real Menthol, and Berry Menthol.... Haven't touched my Kayfuns in months...

Hey Mike, it's me Scott. I picked up that DX350 custom when you were out to lunch a few weeks ago... (BTW, k2zs is my ham call)
We have ProVaris at the ZFO now... hehehehe
I conjured up more than a few CONFUSED faces at ECC2015 with my kabuki today!
Most of them were confused by my non-mechanical (regulated) mod (Provari P3), but also by the fact that all that flavor and cloud production were produced by a NAUTILUS coil!

Lol, The clown chasers see a tube and assume it's unregulated... hey they've been vaping for nearly 90 days, they are experts!
Spread the word on the Kabuki, the nautilus coil creates such a barrier for those guys... I'm surprised they even tried it.

@k2zs -- Thanks for your posts and enlightening readers about the Kabuki. Sure helped me go for it. Though in the ProV forum, to me it is simply a Kabuki thread.....in a more pleasant area of E C F.

One of the things I really like about the Kabuki is the improved power delivery and flavor.
I've been going backwards power-wise for a while now. Used to be using around 13W on the high end, maybe 10W on the low end.
The Nauty tanks seem to need about 4.5V to really get rolling. That's over 10W just to begin with on a 2ohm coil.
Well, these Kabuki tanks seem to be delivering the flavor with about 3.8V. It is really capturing the nuances in my juice right about there, sometimes a bit lower even.
That's a little over 7W friends.
I'm going 4.3V when running around at work. A little over 9W. Yeah. I know. I'm crazy like that.
Anyway, If you are running your Kabuki the way you run a Nauty tank, you might want to back it off a bit.
Give it a try. You might be surprised.

That's so true. I run mine on 18350 unregulated mechanical devices and the flavor really pops towards the end of a charge (3.5v - 3.6v) for me at least. The other benefit is that I'll get a full day out of 1 battery and that usually includes about 5 hours of drive time...
That Geisha is starting to look pretty good.
Geisha is a really refined, cooler vape... flavor first... vapor isn't a concern... Put your P3 at 3.7v-3.8V to get about the same vape, using the voltage setting, not the wattage.
I run my Kabuki in an 8.0-11.5 range, with is a bit lower than other clearos, which are 10.0-12.0.
On my Provi's, it's 4.0-4.3.
I've always been one to change power (time of day, moods, etc.), which is why I've often stated that the first "V" (variable) is much more important to me than the 2nd letter, whether to be "V" or "W" (which is truly irrelevant to me).
But to the point, yes, I find the Kabuki produces nicely at a lower power than my stock Nauti, Aero, Cero (etc.) tanks.

Curious - I find with my dripper spiral with a 1.9 NR-R-NR coil on my Provape-1 is my sweet spot. At what volts would that be on my v2? I cant seem to replicate the same vape when I switch out my atty.
HA! Thats the problem then. I thought I would need to go up as opposed to down in volts...my other tanks I vape 3.9 to 4.2. Thanks!
When I still had my ProVape1 I was running 1.8Ω coils on Protanks, they would taste scorched on my ProVari's at anything over 3.5ish volts. 3.2-3.4 seemed to be the magic number. My thoughts were that those little 14500's sag a bit under load...
