Is the airflow screw black?

Of course! It's a stealth!

Best way to solve the Z2 to 510 issue is to use HOH pv's ;)

adapters already exist to go from the superior Z2 and P3 connectors to inferior 510 connections, we developed the new connectors because they are far superior to 510s... It makes no sense to adapt to inferior connection.

Where can these inferior adapters be purchased?

Thanks, Jim

I would love to see a Zen box-type mod. Sort of along the lines of the Sidewinder but with a DNA or something similar in it.

EDIT: I realized this was completely off topic as soon as I hit post, but I'm going to leave it, because I want one!
Things of such a general nature exist.

Am I the only person who's never broken a 510 connector? Even with some very difficult drops (me).

Curious...

I've broken a number of cartos at the 510 connection pocket carrying , but those aren't stainless. When I used protank2s I never broke one pocket carrying, but I used Tatroe bases, which are stainless...

I used ProVape ego-510 adapters for close to two years. Those things are STRONG.

And I'd be totally comfortable using one of theirs to bridge a P3 threaded device to a well made 510 threaded mod.

I'd understand that the responsibility is mine, but would not hesitate for even a moment. If I turned out to be wrong, you'd NEVER hear me complain about it.

But I'd like to have the choice.

Yeah, I'd like a P3 tank to 510 adapter so I could just buy P3 Kabukis, but still use them on my 2.5s. An adapter ring shouldn't be too complicated. Basically just a ring with a positive pin sticking above and below the ring. Top mates with the P3 tank, bottom is a 510 post...

Lol, I had to ask...

Didn't really matter as I ordered a P3 Stealth Kabuki from ProVape YESTERDAY! My 3rd Kabuki and a SS replacement tank from ProVape, btw.

While we are on the subject, I ordered and received this week from HOH, 5 set screws and 8 o rings.

Will spare Stealth airflow screws be available? I am .... about having spare parts.

One more thing, I posted this in the Saloon, the original o rings that came with the Kabuki are rather loose with that SS replacement. So much so that every time I remove my P3 from my holster with said set-up, I have to make sure tank is secure by turning the top and bearing down on base and coil or I will get a slight leak which is what happened first time in the field.

Any suggestions? I love my P3 and Kabuki's!

Thank you so much, Zen, for being around!

I don't have a machine shop, but it would be nice if ProVape came out with one...
There are a lot more 2.5s out there than P3 ProVari, and I'm sure there will eventually be more than 3 tanks with P3 threading. A lot of ProVari users are dual users-having both 2.5s and P3 threaded ProVari, so I am sure such an adapter would sell well, even if it were $40..
I have 4 2.5s and only 1 Classic. What is holding me back from buying more Kabuki is that I can't use them on my 2.5s. I'm sure I'm not alone in this. I know Kabuki also come in 510, but ProVape does not sell them...
This probably wouldn't be an issue if ProVari were disposable China mods, then I'd just replace them as they broke with P 3 threaded ones...

You could try 014 or 015 I rings to tighten it up... It's a good idea to make extra stealth screws, I'll work on that... Added to the list of things to do!

I understand what you're saying. The average person will never break a 510 connector... The average manufacturer has encountered hundreds of them. I've fished so many busted 510 posts out of connectors that you would never believe it, I'm sure ProVape has seen more than their share as well. The 510 was designed for the cig alike market where the threaded section was 95% of the diameter of the device. When devices grew the connectors stayed the same and now the threaded section is 20% of the diameter... The leverage is too great, considering the metal thickness under the threads is way to thin to support the leverage that can build up. It makes no sense to make an adapter that I know will break, especially since the whole point of P3 and Z2 is to produce a lower overall height, better conductivity and stronger mechanical connection. These improved connector specs were not designed to be adapted to, they were designed to obsolete the incumbent inferior connector.

I see. Maybe it's a good thing I only pocket carry carto tanks, since the inferior metal of the carto will snap long before damaging the threading on the Provari. Put a heavy tank with a stainless 510 pin under stress and it could be the ProVari which could be damaged. I never pocket carry KayFuns for fear of leaking, which may be a good thing, since there's no telling what would break if it bends a little at the connection...

Cool! I'll probably just call your customer service line next week and get the skinny on what you may carry and if you have them, order them with those spare Stealth screws. In the meantime, I'll check my stash...

It's pretty rare for the threads on the female side of the connector to be damaged, it has a lot more meat to it... The male side takes the hit and breaks, and then is often stuck in the female side. We use screw extractors to get them out and as u said, rarely see damaged female thread. It's the male that is fragile.

Oh, I see. The times I have had a carto break in the connector and there wasn't enough to grab, I just jammed a pencil eraser in there and twisted and it came out...
