Just received my second Kabuki....thank god it works flawlessly...I feel for you Yuma and Coldgin....I know Zen and Provari are top notch in the service department..but still the hassle is not fun at all...hang in there...

I don't think you have to wait. They sell so many of them, they can't keep the Stealth's in stock. So a fraction of us are having problems that they will take care of. I believe (don't quote me) the new Kabuki's and especially the Stealth ones are the revised ones. Given I still have a couple of coils that won't fire but will in a Nautilus may mean a hair more might have to be shaved off, or just mine. Juma just plain got bent over the kitchen sink...
Look, as a paying customer I hold these people's feet to the fire but there's the gist of it - I CAN! What I mean by that is they make themselves available for that and respond in a positive manner by doing something about it. So, yeah, I'm going to piss and moan when I get disappointed and frustrated but I'm also going to give credit where credit is due. I'm the guy that calls the pizza place after it's been delivered and ate to let them know (if it's particularly outstanding) what a great pizza it was. They are usually taken aback and quite pleased!
Anyway, I plan on ordering 4th Kabuki (2nd stealth) when they are back in stock and then I'll be good. I want a Stealth and SS for at home (so I don't get them mixed up) and a Stealth and SS with SS tanks for mobility.
the kabuki should go to the spring loaded pin like the atlantis. the provari chip will guarantee a consistent fine vape.
Kat, I had the same problem with some loose glass tubes, so I ordered some of Zen's o-rings & they worked perfect for the loose tubes! I would highly recommend trying them.
Zen is in Miami, at a vape bash, so may be a bit before he checks back here.
I'm still loving my 510 Kabuki. I did find the IBtank glass a little loose but swapped to IB's 19mm coloured o-rings and it made it nice & snug. It's worked on every mod I've tried (with a bit of allen key adjustment) apart from 1 provari mini - but I have other tanks which don't connect with that particular one so I think it's a provari thing not a Kabuki thing. It does work on my other provaris. I have only used a couple of coils - 1 of the old kind which I changed after 24 fills (didn't need to but I wanted to try a new coil). The 2nd (new type) is at 28 fills so far and still going strong. I must admit I thought I would like more mls but I actually really like how small it is so I am happy for it to stay exactly as it is. This isn't actually ever going to happen - but if I could only have one tank I think it would be the Kabuki. I do some rebuilding (wanted to make sure I could vape on whatever regs are introduced and I do love my kayfuns) but now I know I can, I am quite happy to just plug & play most of the time.
Cold, as you or someone said, that sucks. I do think Zen will eventually fix everything. Meanwhile it's a PITA. And since I do think the problem will be solved, I was going to order last night a P3 Ti Stealth and another Kabuki Stealth. However, ProVape appears to be out of the Kabuki Stealths. And I still have to wait for a bunch of point to mature. How stupid is that? With every other company I've seen, one's points become available with the next order. All ProVape is doing is delaying one's next order.
And while this Kabuki problem is a pain, it's not as bad as trying to use a Kanger Subtank Mini. I will admit for me doing the thread job is not easy. So rather than do that, I just stuck a Subtank Mini on my Stealth. Worked great in the house at 74F, but when I walked outside and it was 80F, the damn thing ran all over my hand. Came back in, wrapped a thread, vaped for a few minutes, then went outside and nary a drop from the Kabuki. Of course my experience with Kanger stuff is that while it looks neat, it's really worse than vomit. I've really learned my lesson this time: no more money from me to those clowns.

This weekend, for example, my BB's, which have gone untouched for a few days, are getting the major workload. And it tastes & feels marvelous. By football tomorrow, I'll surely be yearning for something other...

Altho I "created" the Tootle Puffers thread, I have never once offered up any sort of distinctive definition. Many have "decided" what it means, but that's half the fun of the whole thing.
For me a Tootle Puffer is a low watt vaper. It's one who does MTL hits, doesn't use max VG, and uses coils in excess of 1.0 Ω. It's someone who does not get anywhere near blowing clouds. It's really the vaper of days gone by.... those of us who have been puffing on everything from mini ecigs (V2s, eGos, cigalikes, etc.) right up to and including Provis. Tootlers have no need of sub ohms or 200 watts. We realize that's about 190 watts in excess of what we like.
I would gratefully meet HOH halfway, and have a 3.5ml tank! Hey Zen, would you do that if we all promised to only fill it 1/2 way?
Kat, thanks for the definition of Tootle Puffer. I fit that 99% of the time. But I also use on occasion an Aspire Pegasus in temp mode with a Ni200 coils in an Atlantis 1 with a 7ml A-Mod tank. The juice I have in there right now is Quacks Goose Juice at max VG. Seems to work for me at 410F. Anything higher than that is uncomfortable. I have no idea how these guys vape at 150 watts or 600F. I guess they've just burned their throats and lungs to the point where they don't feel it. I probably only vape half a tank a week.

My main question is how can this tank justify it's price tag? Forgive my skepticism; I'll assume that it's a nice tank. But when it's triple the price of most others, and doesn't even have modern features (still needs allen wrenches and no top-fill etc) and just takes BVC coils, I'm a bit suspect on what makes this tank so different compared to just a Nautilus or many of the others that use BVC's.
Ever since Aspire changed the their coils, I've had a lot of flooding/spitting issues with BVC's on all my tanks, and I had to stop using them. I'm mainly wondering if this tank addresses this somehow, or if juice in the mouth is an issue.

Longo, I know. I keep telling myself that a Kabuki on a P3 and vaping Space Jam Eclipse takes care of 99% of my vaping needs. However, I do like to change things around. Hence, 20+ mods and 50+ tanks.
I have the full line of Subtanks. Previous to the 1.5 VOCC coils I found the vape too harsh. The feel and taste of the new VOCC coils is nice. But I cannot for the life of me get a Kanger tank where it doesn't leak a some point. And I've tried several bell caps thinking that would remove a couple leak points. It does, but the tanks still leak. I think it's a quality control issue in the base.
Dry, Space Jam Eclipse is an entire new experience with the Kabuki. Buy one and you'll never want to go back to anything else. I can take 1.6ohm BVC coils bought directly from Aspire and put one in a Nautilus P3 and another in a Kabuki. Zero spitting issues. The taste in the Kabuki is easily twice as good than it is in the Nautilus. And for whatever reason lots of gunk winds up in the well of the Nautilus, whereas the well within the P3 threading is almost dry. I don't know how Zen does it? Magic somehow, I guess.
Juma, hah. What a small vaping world it is....blast you. I was really hoping all the hype was somehow magic beans that people were buying. Of course I find the one person who uses my ADV and can vouch for it specifically. Ack. Ok, I better investigate further. Is there any specific place that has the newest version/best price?

This has got to be a big issue with Zen. I have three Kabukis that need new bases, and they way things appear now If I buy couple more, he'll have to work on those news bases too. He might not want to come back from his travels.
It has P3 threading, is small, mine is well machined, vacuum and juice flow are perfect, all make it an easy to use flavor machine. It doesn't have a air flow ring which will break. It doesn't only use BVC coils. I also use Cisco re-builds also -

Nein. Must purchase separately, zapped. Stock one comes with Zen glass, which fits perfectly too.
