Stealth Kabuki Info... if you have one your should read this!

TO CLEAN A STEALTH KABUKI...

Gentle cleaning is required in no hotter than lukewarm water and mild detergent. Ultrasonic Cleaning and Hot or Boiling water WILL DE-laminate the CeraKote leaving you with a kinda ugly looking tank.

Kabuki ordered. I expect it may arrive before my Radius (Cabernet). I was wishing I had it in hand tonight when one of my RBAs decided to be finicky when I was rebuilding it with my ADV. I wasn't a happy camper. I set it aside, went back to it later and suddenly it decided to behave! Does it know? LOL..

Loving seeing more people learning about the Kabuki and giving them a whirl.

I've been happily using one daily right after I found out about them and have acquired a Stealth for my upcoming Pro-Rad!

Please read the note above about not boiling it!

Thanks for the warning, Zen.

No worries for that with this vaper. Warm tap water works well for me on all my tanks.

(The only vape product I ever boiled was carto's back in the early days. Um, that wasn't too successful, for me, anyway.)

Good to know, thanks. :thumb:

I have been using plain tap water that is to hot to handle without adding cold and drying with vapor towel.

I just rinse mine under a cold water tab a few times and let it soak for a while in some cold water....and I do have paint issues with the top cap (rest is fine)...so be very carefull with the Cerakote layer....not sure if this was caused by me letting it soak in some cold water, or mine has perhaps an issue....I contacted Stacie to check if this was not such a smart move on my part (letting it soak for a while) or perhaps it's an issue with the unit.

Not trying to put blame anywhere, just saying be carefull! As it's realy nice in stealth and it's a shame if you mess it up :D

Is the kabuki ready to just fill when you get it? No machine oil or anything that needs cleaning first?

Mine will be delivered today.
I filled and vaped mine 2 seconds after Mike gave it to me at VaperCon...

Very Clean!!!

I (minimum) rinse everything. But these were a quick rinse and immediate fill (what's a few drops of water?).

Thanks guys! I didn't clean my kayfun (not a clone) and was fine. I'm not worried about a little dust ;)
Just wanted to make sure it was ready to go. Remember the atomizers that you would have to blow out the primer before using? Forgot to do that with my first vape ever. Blech!

I figure we are too flipping clean and that's why kids are getting sick. Their bodies aren't being allowed to build up their immune systems.

Hubby washes his hands after every little thing... He is an allergy sufferer. Me? Meh... I wash mine before cooking....does that count? Oh, I don't have any allergies ;)

My kids were allowed to get dirty, encouraged to go outside and play. I even danced in mud puddles with them. They don't have allergies either. I was a bad parent, I even smoked around them. :(

Funny though, as the number of smokers decrease, the number of childhood asthma increases. Just a thought to ponder....

And I will! Count on that.

Thanks, Robin. :)

Have a good Monday, all. And enjoy that vape mail!

Based on zens video i didn't wash mine. Only rinsed out my kfls with water briefly too. Both were spotless out the box.
With the KFL, I just had to get rid of that extra plastic that was left around the threading of the plastic tank section. Other than that... Like you said, spotless :)
