Now I noz you mockin...

Too Funny!!!

I think NOT.

Play the clown, yes you do. I do too. Because it's FUN.

Not all "Smart" can't be learned in a book. As Mr. Springsteen once said -
"I learned more from a three minute record, baby, than I ever learned in school."

Speaking of school. My "classes" begin soon. I'd better go study.

Happy Friday, all! Keep your batteries clean. ;)

I'll find out that when I change coil next, maybe tomorrow.
The clapton is my kind of vape. lol

You are, and I am! lol
Normal nauti coil I'm at 11-12w, the clapton I'm at 15w so far and enjoying it. Taking it up slowly to see how it performs.
Oh, yeah, sry. I thought someone said they were vaping at a lower wattage with their clapton. Getting better flavor as it's getting worked in?

Center pin is definitely bigger than the nauti coil.. . . . .

1.8 ohms rock solid now

Yep, that's me :), presently 9 watts compared to the 9.5 watts of the standard 1.8 Naughty coils.

Ok, I've come to the conclusion that my Clapton coil is different to everyone elses. Maybe they slightly tweaked the design early on and I've got a Clapton from a batch of prototypes or something? It's presently reading 1.44 ohms.

However, I've checked the other two coils that came with the Triton Mini (1.2ohms and NI coils) and yes, the pins are bigger than the standard Nautilus coils. Very strange, Shame the coils don't have serial numbers on them. . .

I recevied a shipping notice for my Mini nickel coils yesterday. They're not due to be delivered until Monday, but then I can add another data point. Yes, I'm very interested in what Aspire may have done for (to?) the Nautilus coil type.

Of course, this comes at the same point that I'm beginning to feel the Kabuki does a better vape with Kanthal even on one of my trusted TC mods. And that's coming from a dyed-in-the-wool Temp Control zealot. I've been vaping for a little over two years and what I've learned is that I don't know what I thought I knew.

So... Is there some trick to filling these beyond ~75% capacity without leaking out the airflow ring? Not a major bother but given the already limited capacity it seems like I must be missing something blatantly obvious.
Are you removing the top or bottom to fill?

I let the e-liquid run down the inside of the glass until it reaches the chimney, at that point a few more drops can be added until the surface tension of the liquid allows it to raise up like a doughnut just above the chimney, then the coil and base need to be carefully aligned and assembled, there is just a pea size air bubble when I fill mine...
