Well, thanks for the opinions thus far.Welp, to be clear, I'm not saying that it never has to be removed. I'd absolutely defer to @Zen~ on that as a stated "fact". I know for me it's not necessary. I just don't see a need or a reason for it, and I clean mine in the Vaper Bob 3 piece method.
I don't see anything WRONG with removing the cap to clean it, but with the amount of (potential) breakage, I'd rather not, unless I really want a new glass or O rings.
