Anybody Using A Kabuki?

Yes, sir! Those are the ones that I bought. They work so well with both the poly and glass tanks that I no longer require a tool to refill. YMMV.
Geez. Got Jackie the Ti Kabuki and she really likes it. I want one, but neither of us will use the poly tanks and we both need the adapter like a hole in the head. I thought the extra bull
was a waste when I purchased it for her and now I'm really having a hard time spending extra $$ on useless crap (poly tank, adapter) AGAIN!
Someone make me feel better about it and I'll check back when I'm done with my bills and email.

Well, my lovely beautiful wife was a big help and inspiration. She told me I could have her Ti Kabuki and order her a SS (I purchase her a Elegant Gun Metal a month or so ago) to which I said, "NO WAY! I love you and want you to have the best!" She than proceeded to tell me how kick and really nice the Ti Kabuki is. I told her how we'll never use the poly tank and/or adapter and her reply was, "Never know!"
So after hitting, "Post Reply", I'm going to order the Ti Kabuki to compliment the Stealth's and SS's one I already have. I'm losing count but next week, if they still have them, maybe I'll get the Gunmetal one too.
Just last week, the guy at the electronics shop said to me regarding Jackie, "I wish I had a wife that told me to spend money!"

Well I hope everyone is real happy! I couldn't take it and ordered BOTH the Ti and Gunmetal!
You see, for at home, I figured I'd have four (SS, Stealth, GMZ and Ti) different Kabuki's for four different flavors. Don't want to get them mixed up. Then of course there's the three with SS tanks for mobility (two to switch back and forth and a spare for the Jeep).
I'm done now. Good night. Monday, I'll order juice still on sale.

Be careful of those HardWare O Rings, they can give a God Awful taste sometimes! Now how would I know that??Grrrrrr!!!

Thanks. Yeah, I thought about that. Actually, when I receive mine, we'll have two unwanted ploy tanks and three adapters. Probably more trouble than it's worth. Still, I'll run it past Jackie.
I could use a little help...
I recommended the kabuki to a friend of mine who loves his nautilus. While he digs the flavor and over-all performance, he keeps complaining about leaks "around the 510 pin".
He doesn't feel like sending it back, at least not just yet. Any advice?

Ask your friend to remove the coil, then back the Kabuki 510 pin out a bit. At that point screw the coil back into the base really tight, and then screw the 510 pin in until it just makes connection with the coil. Hope that helps.
People not tightening the coil head firmly in the base seems to be a common theme. I'd also check the o-ring on the bottom of the head. Good luck to your friend!
This is common practice with me every time I change the coil. If the 510 pin is too tight, the new coil seats against the 510 pin before it ever physically seats in the base. So best practice is always to loosen the pin, tighten the coil in the base, then re-tighten the 510 pin.
