I have been doing the same with 3. This low makes it easier to do 0 once a year when I have to take that stupid tobacco test for health insurance at work. Lol

How long do you stop for, prior....?

About a week.

That's not so bad.

I don't think I want to go down too low though. I have personal reasons for wanting to keep nic around (just in case...).

Momma died of what Lex's mom is going through right now, and watching it, I realize it's a fate I'd rather avoid, if at all possible. So, on the outside chance that there IS something some of the studies we've seen, I'm in no hurry to drop nic out of my life.

I guess I have missed all of that. Sorry for your loss and sorry lex is having to deal with watching things.

I keep the nic cause for what ever reason it really helps with my adhd. I took meds for it for a while and tried to quit smoking cold turkey at that time. I really thought I was going to have a mental break down. Was very close to admitting myself into a hospital. This was after almost 2 months of not smoking. The longer I went the worse I got. So I went back to smoking. This was long before vaping. Now I am just not willing to risk that again. My life is on track and I really don't want or need that set back.

I really wish provape made the liquid in 3. 6 is just too high for me. I would love to try it, but until there is a 3 i am out. blah.
Just buy equal amounts of 0mg and 6mg and combine. Problem solved, although I admit it isn't the most cost effective route...

Yes. There have been some positive indications for ADHD, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's (the last being the issue at hand for too many of us).

It's still early, but if there's even a small hope, that's good enough for me. At least for now.

Oh! And thanks. :)

I'm a 15er as well (from years of 18mg). I do normally end up buying in duplicate (an 18 and a 12), but I suppose if I could conquer lazy vaper Kat, I could dilute it down with PG/VG. That might work for you as well, Vic.

DPL and I (and Lex) share the Mom Alz. issues. Mine also passed with that dreaded dis-ease, so I would MUCH rather continue my own nic usage for the very same reasons.

I think 24mg. has received a bad rap. Of course the trend to lower ohmage vaping has spurred on the sales of low mg. vliquids, but I believe there's still a place for the 24s and the 18s, particularly with the smoker turning vaper. Has everyone seen the Juul by Pax, which are designed as a starter kit? The pods (cartridges) are 5% nicotine.

That's 50mg.

I shall be testing one this weekend.

I will have to research the Alz thing. I had not heard that nic could help with that. Thanks for that information.

Dont worry too much, cause i am lazy as well. I keep saying i am going to DIY but just never get around to it. I am mostly worried i will get bad nic and then i am out all that money. My budget has been so tight that i dont dare risk wasting any money.

I agree with the high nic though. I started i think at 18 and have gone down. I have more of a hand to mouth thing and nic that high makes me sick fast cause i vape so much. That is mostly why i went down so much, but 0 just does not work. Seems the nic brings out the flavor more too. This is why i dont dilute any liquid. To me most of the time the flavor is weak enough as it is.

Here is a article on Nic and the brain.

Nicotine, the Wonder Drug? | DiscoverMagazine.com

I started out on 24mg (2012) but was on the toilet a lot and got a slight rash on the top (between elbow and shoulder) of my arm. Went down to 18mg, bathroom breaks went back to normal but could feel that slight rash on my arms when applying soap in the shower. Went down to 12mg (hey, it's good enough for PBusardo) a couple of years ago and everything is normal except I have exceptional reflexes but that could be from video games.

Went from 24, 18, 12, and now 6 in the past year. Been battling to keep on the 6 but have been vaping more. May try some 12 again and quit beating myself up over it.
12 to 6 is big jump. I wanted to drop from 12, but 6 was too low all at once so I mix 12 and 6 for a 9mg.

12mg was too much for me right from the start. I went to 6 (3 for drippers) and I can't see changing that except for the 3mg. I tried 3 in a few Nautilus tanks and I vaped like a fat kid on a Smartie. Just not enough nic.

I have used 6 for all my Vaping for a few months and it is perfect.

I like the silicone OMG rings over the original ones, they are so much easier to work with and I think easier on the glass tank.

Me too. I too find the silicone OMGs to be much more friendly especially when removing the top cap. I do have the basic clear and a few black that I am using. Ordered more black and some white. I have just a few of the other colors.

It's the first non-Provape mod I've bought since I got my first Mini in 2013.
Obviously it could never compare to a Provari, but it's not trying to.
It's a plug'n'play coil/insert system, where the juice and coil are an all-in-one setup.
The device hits hard, and the throat hit is smooooooth.
a162f7ccafe987ab0916b588be478f1b.jpg

Let's put it this way: I've been officially Nicotine free for two years this month.
I've been using the JUUL and it's pretty easy to hit.
Couple the neat coil system with a magnetic battery charging system, and the tiny size of the device...it's great.
The JUUL is extremely pocketable. Super stealthy.
20ee14a4d5e9137260be979f6f24f0ce.jpg

I'd LOOOOVE to see Provape develop something like this.
(Also, I found out you can refill these little pods, and I aim to refill them with 0 nic.)
----------------------------------
Also on the table is the Joyetech eGo A.I.O.
It's a 19mm device, with the tank and "mod" all together in one sealed bundle.
df32eb15097430b8f09fc757783267a3.jpg

Also comes in a blacked out version, a stainless version, and a red/white version.
(I got the all black one.)
6c6c9cfe7c53ab3422dd9c847f3d9c99.jpg

It uses a bottom fed coil system, with 0.6 ohm coils. This device is USB rechargeable.
A cool feature is the changeable, multicolor LED lighting that lights up the tank (it has an OFF option).
f0ca6c2f9bcfceaada660233e71e8e2a.jpg

This would be my ultimate Provape product.
(Yes I know there's a thread specifically for "dream products" from Provape.
-----------------------------------
Why am I talking about these competitor products on a Provape hosted forum? Because I bought these products to play with alongside my Provari collection.
I wanted to see if it would be worth asking Provape to invest in similar form factors.
So far, I'd say yes.
Provape quality, in devices like these, would make them the most formidable mod maker in the industry.
A few more days of field testing, and I'll be sitting down to plan out my request to Provape.

(P.S. None of the pictures above are mine. They were found in a simple Google search of the products discussed, and are part of the public domain.)

Interesting. Price? Battery life?

$50 for the kit and $15.99 for 4 cartridges. Not sure if that is list or street price. You can order them directly from Juul online and get 25% off your first order. I would buy one to check out, but can't have products containing NIC shipped into Canada.

I bought a Vuse kit in an emergency last time I was in the US and it isn't terrible. Not even close to my Provari/Kabuki combo but I could keep off the smokes easily if Vuse was the only eCig available.

I like the form factor of Vuse and Juul, but they would not replace my Provaris for daily use. I keep my Vuse in my laptop bag in case my Provari craps the bed. So far, I haven't needed to resort to the Vuse.

BTW, without the ability to refill the tanks on these kind of devices, they can be stupid expensive. More expensive than smoking and potentially more than a bad ProVape habit.

Thanks! Yeah, more expensive than cigarettes is not acceptable...
