Thanks! Yeah, more expensive than cigarettes is not acceptable...
True, but my vape related spending (12 Provaris and another 6-8 mods, tons of tanks and drippers, different views premium juices, lots of DIY supplies and accessories) over the last 5 months will likely take at least another full year to show any savings over smoking.

Not a big deal as it is a fun hobby and I enjoy not smoking!

$50 for the kit and $15.99 for 4 cartridges. Not sure if that is list or street price. You can order them directly from Juul online and get 25% off your first order.
This is accurate per my purchase two weeks ago.

BTW, without the ability to refill the tanks on these kind of devices, they can be stupid expensive. More expensive than smoking and potentially more than a bad ProVape habit.
This is inaccurate.
The JUUL pod has been "designed" to reflect a pack of cigarettes.
$15.99/pack of 4 pods works about to about $4/ea...which is $2-4 less than most cigarettes.
Plus, they say you get 15% off when you auto-ship online.
(Also, the JUUL pod is technically refillable...although they didn't design it that way. YouTube will provide your answer.)

Definitely sucks about not being able to ship nicotine products to Canada...
Apparently Canada is extremely strict about things! I just found out that I am not allowed into the country because I have a DUI on my record! And if I'm found in the country with a DUI on my record, I'm considered a felon, and could go to jail? Doesn't sound to fun to me!

The pods are super expen$$$ive! Look at the price per ml......

If I'm not seeing things, one pod is 4 bucks....... for .7ml. POINT SEVEN!!!!
Stop it. Relaaaaaaax.
You're worrying yourself over nada.

Yes it's 0.7ml but it's like 50-something nicotine. Which means you won't blow through that juice in one puff.
Plus, the airflow on the JUUL is similar to a cig-alike...which means you can't take 3-6 second lung hits on it.

I don't think you would have to worry about jail, but if the DUI came up when they scanned your passport, they wouldn't let you in to the country.

DUI is a nightmare here. If you get caught, you lose your licence automatically for a year, insurance doubles or triples, You need a breath tester installed in your car for a year once you are allowed to drive again, etc. $10-20k once it is all said and done. Crazy.

So, I've been seeing a lot about these OMG rings from Zen...

Should I buy the black ones, to replace the rings that came with my Kabuki?
Did he bring these in as a replacement for BUNA? Or just as an option?
Yes...

Good question. Why are the OMG ones better than what ships with Kabukis? Mine work just fine.....

Knifemaker talk to Zen about the O rings for the Kabukis a while back and here is part of what he said.....

Info from The Horse's Mouth!!!
Talked to ZEN at length today, and one of the things that we talked about, was the "0" rings for the Kabuki.
Zen told me that the original O rings were of a fairly firm 70 durometer, whereas the new 0 rings were in the neighborhood of 40-45 durometer.
It took ZEN over half a year to have something as seemingly simple as custom "O" Rings made for us. What would seem simple, is in reality, a real PITA. It's very hard to have a manufacturer, change something in it's production line. Much more so if it is a run of an item that is not normally used, or have a wide need in industry.
Why go to this all this trouble of having "Custom "O" Rings made? Now folks, the answer to that IS Simple.
Zen wants to make the very best product possible. Not just the best he can make, but the best that can be obtained from Any Source. Period!

But still, why all the trouble? Well, remember all the fuss over just why the globes were cracking when filling the Kabukis? Turns out, it was the interface between the O rings and the glass. Not the type of glass itself.

Who Knew right? And to think many of us complained about the type of glass used, mostly not knowing that it was in reality a superior product in and of itself. Grrrrrrr!!!

So there you have it. To keep tolerances in a precision device was paramount to HOH. The O rings turned out to be the culprit all along.

Now who else but our very own ZEN would put out the amount of money, effort in research, and negotiations with manufacturers of such a mundane item, to simply make life a little easier for us.

News flash, Silicone O rings are now fully available from HOH, and the new Black silicon O rings will be added in a short time. There were problems getting the black Colour right, but they pulled it off. Woo-Hoo!! Don't ya just Love-it when a plan comes together!:)

Anybody using a Kabuki? Well I was until yesterday afternoon when my P3 stopped working! I've emailed Provape and posted a request for help on the P3 thread.

I started vaping just before Xmas 15 after 38years as a roll up man and not smoked since, I have 2 Kabuki's SS and GM.

Although impressed with the performance and taste I didn't fully appreciate how good they are until now as I'm having to use a leaking, flavourless Kanger tank on a lesser mod.

Being in the UK makes it more difficult to get a fix as I expect I will have to send to the USA. Cheers. Sean

Just for clarification on my barely caffeinated brain...

The OMG O-rings are silicone, right? The new 45 durometer O-rings are BUNA? If so, given the two options, which is the better choice?

I think he still has two types, Alden. One might not be silicone. I believe the silicone ones say "silicone".

Because I'm sharp like that. Like a bowling ball, they say!

Thanks, DP. The HOH storefront definitely lists two different types under OMG! Rings; silicone and Buna. I'm assuming it is the Buna-type that is the new 45 durometer O-ring that Knife mentioned. I can't imagine that ZEN would sell replacement parts he has deemed unsuitable (the original 90 durometer Buna). It isn't clear, however. And you know what can happen when one assumes.

The Buna ones are older stock. They are the higher durometer (harder) O-rings. He did not deem them "unsuitable". He does have a warning on most of them that they are a tight fit....
Zen's words...

"These O-rings have been hidden around here since we shut down the original online shop about 3 years ago... and they are the correct size to fit all legacy devices like the carto tanks, Z-attys and hybrid PVs... but they WILL work on Kabukis IF you can deal with a pretty snug fit... they lube-up pretty well with e-liquid. They will be VERY snug on Kabuki 510 (but WILL work) and will be a perfect fit for Kabuki P3 and Kabuki Z2.

If we ever restock these, they WILL be more expensive, so get 'em while you can. And if you buy them for a Kabuki 510, remember.... SNUG FIT... so... no complaining... mmmkay?"

The Silicone O rings are the lower durometer ones. They would be the better choice. They are easier to use on the Kabukis and they have a longer shelf life.
