it takes 3 to 4 weeks to rid your body of the 4000+ toxic chemicals. using juice with nicotine helps with the main addiction. (tobacco).

I see. So should first get rid of the tobacco addiction by vaping with nic, then go on to try 0 nic... And anw, congrats on clearing yourself from nicotine! Good job! :)

65 hours. so the way i have been ...... i'm going to say my blood is clear of any nicotine. 7 hours to 72 hour mark. using the e-cig definitely helped with the withdrawal, and hand to mouth action. i also notice starting day 2, i pick up the PV a lot less. not once did i ever have an urge to smoke a cig. going to vape 0 nic exclusively from now on. i will wait at least 1 month before i decide to put the PV down or not. and keep u guys updated on any symptoms i get.:2cool:
73 hours. everything is fine. red cells carrying nicotine free oxygen throughout my body. no stress, anger, or anxiousness. life is good:toast:

Congrats. Was this part of the plan or did this experiment lead you to the decision of staying on 0% from here on out.

Either way I admire you for sticking to it!

I have been thinking of going 0 nic for this reason.

I start vaping and quit smoking.. 4th time now. I end up getting weaned off nicotine and I run out of supplies and just stop everything. Then one night I'll go have some beers with a smoking friend, and they of course love nothing more than to bum me a smoke. 2 or 3 days later I am buying a pack because I am out of supplies, batteries are all over the place, out of charge, all my tanks and carto's have months old caramel looking juice in them.

4 months later of being a full time smoker and realizing i am a tard for letting a few beers get me back into smoking, im back to restocking and getting back into vaping.

This time, I'm hoping I can stay prepared for that time... if I go 0 nic, I can have my cake and eat it too. Hopefully with that in my plan, I can stop the roller coaster.

never planned on putting down the stinkies, but here i am. spent way too much time reading angst ridden nicotine withdrawal threads, and addiction articles. figured it was one way to decide just how much of an addict i am with the combustion aspect gone. and here i am again. most addiction therapy states 1 (in the case of nicotine) puff and you have allowed you body to accept said addiction, and setting you back to square one. if i take a puff of nic laden e-juice, i risk repeating the ordeal i just survived. i finally got an email from a juice supplier stating they were shipping my 6MG juice. days late, and 50 dollars short. it will go to the emergency stash for friends who are running low, and if the apocalypse comes. after this i remain nicotine free, judging from the drive i just took to town in search of more 0 MG. to get me through the easter weekend. as this is the first time i am willingly not using nic, i have to say it is as empowering as not smoking.

I am wondering if people who are hanging on to the last 6mg are just scared of giving it up altogether? It was tough going from 18 to 0, but, come on now, 6mg??
every article, and thread i read is from people who drag out the addiction to perpetuity. i see it as giving the drug in question power over us. the one thing i knew when i made the decision to quit, is that there would be suffering, and withdrawal. without planning on it, i have dealt with 2 of three addictions. now i want to see it through all the way, without trying to drag the process out longer than i have to.

another quickie as we approach day 4 mark on the 0 nicotine train. first- as i go through my day, i am finding i am picking up vaporizer way less now. with no reward attached to it,, kinda seems like a waste of time. this morning brought a bout of GI discomfort. i think it's less about lack of nicotine, and more to the point, that without the nicotine firing up my nervous system, i need actual food to get my blood sugar levels cooking. have to teach my self to eat something in the morning from now on. no urges to pick up a cig, and feeling great about not ingesting nicotine for the first time in over a decade.

Now would be a great time to incorporate some healthy eating and exercise, will be easier since you're making room for a new habit pretty much, will also speed up recovery

smoking allowed me to starve myself at will. when i did eat, it was always good food. so no big changes in the diet dept, other than actually having breakfast in the am. exercise? can walk 2 miles without any effort at all. the dogs hate me, so that dept. is getting plenty of attention. just kind of upset i ended up ordering all the extra gear and supplies, i am hoping to put the vaporizer down for good in 2 to 3 weeks. definitely did not expect to use it so little after only 4 days.

day 5. down the hatch. can definitely say i don't feel any cravings for nicotine or tobacco. use of the PV has dropped way off. it doesn't feel the same without the drug reward factor. keeping it close still just in case i need to puff on something. starting to put all the vaping supplies together they will have a place of honor in my drawer. i really over-ordered on the juice. anyway i will make a list of how much money i spent on the road to the end of tobacco slavery, once i put the PV down for good which i estimate will be at the end of the week at the rate i am going. really liking not having the nicotine monkey on my back. it's different for sure.

just about 6 days now. put the vaporizer away last night, did not use it in the morning. did not bring it to work with me. plowed through the smoking areas like they were not there. took a few pulls on it while i'm surfing and sitting. other than that. no thoughts nagging at me that i somehow i need it, or a cig (even worse). even got used to the 0 nic flavor. still on course to put the vaporizer down by the end of the week for good.

I think those of us who are familiar with the twelve steps (AA) are having an easier time of getting rid of that last little bit of nicotine. I would much rather have 24/7 access to vape for a long time to come, as my consequences are a bit more serious.
you can lead a horse to water, but it won't drink it unless it wants to. still up to the individual. and i still think smokers are still caught up in the whole nicotine propaganda show. as you can see by all the threads about nicotine withdrawal, and deprivation. once the tobacco was out of the equation, it really wasn't a big deal (speaking for myself). i certainly don't miss it as much as i thought i would. the other side of the coin, is i am determined to be classified a non smoker. so the brain is on the same page as the body for a change. i can't speak to anyone Else's addiction.
