We will be flying out of LAX for Toyko, my husband just received order to Atsugi.... in addition to the million and one things that I am going to have to figure out, I now have to watch the TSA in CA...thanks for the heads up

I'm going to Spain (Tenerife) next May (husbands 40th birthday treat) and am hoping that there won't be any trouble when we go over as far as me being able to take the battery, the clearomiser/atomiser and the liquid. No doubt we'll be checked at the airport lol. Does anyone know (just to save me using Google) if they can be used at the airport?

I haven't been to Spain, but really doubt that you need worry. If you are overly concerned, disassemble your ecig and mix it with your make up and electronics, or perhaps in your pen bag, until you have passed through customs and inspection. I used to do that, but don't bother anymore, since vaping is not illegal. I may disassemble if I go to a place like Singapore for eg. ejuice that you have in your carry on, throw in with your other liquids in the zip lock baggie.
I vape discreetly at all airports and openly in a VIP lounge, but no huge shiny fancy mods, or massive smoke rings lol. Just use common sense, and get the feel for the vibe around you.

pretty sure they are treated the same as smokes in most places. so if they have a smoke room, you should probably use it there (narita has these) or if you dont want to smell like a real cig, i would head to the toilet and take a few toots. personally, i can no longer stand the smell of real cigs, so i tend to sneak a vape where i can.

When I was in L.A Airport and the Denver Airport I stealthvaped. Since I have a box mod no one really notices.

I just cup my hands over it and be sure to hold the vape in until no steam comes out.

just keep in mind that most TSA people were too stupid to pass the ASVAB for the military, or the psych profiles for the legit police force, and you will be fine. its not too tough to outwit them with logic.

oh, and dont be afraid to show ur mil ID when you go through security. sometimes it makes things smooth as hell. some of more logical TSA folks tend to let mil and mil spouses breeze on through once they know who you are.

I know this is BS and told him he should have argued with them, but I don't think he told them that it was "Denchi Tabako". Good to know a little a Japanese when dealing with people from the government here.

I am a Malaysia Chinese and guess what ? since I am from muslim country and I am a male 18-50yrs.... I will not allow to enter US before 6am and leave US after 11pm as I need to go though secondary inspection ... I am a Buddhist - not Muslim nor Christian ... I feel like I am the victim of the world war of terrorism .

but the fun part is during the so call secondary inspection the person interviewing me will let me go without any question as they can see my name printed in the passport and my 'look' ...this is a chinese ... not Malay..
