At the shore...
i still think there are multiple subcurrents..... i say that as a multiple divorcee :)
as far as revenge goes, i think it's more about everything completely turning to dust, from what i recall from the poem "ozymandias". it wouldn't shock me if Heisenberg ends up losing the 11 mill, and we last see him mumbling to himself while panhandling in a third world country. Remind me to never get into the ..../ drug business RHP- good choice :) in a past life, i actually knew a .... cooker. i'll just say that the main thing i've found just a tad unrealistic about BB is that Jesse still has his teeth...

Dennis...you are one heck of an interesting character. :)

I wish I knew about this thread sooner. I am a professional Breaking Bad foreshadower/addict. Please do not read if you'd like to go into the next episode with no preconceived notions. Enjoy my synopsis! ;)

You have to be delusional to not see that Mr. White was trying to protect Skyler during the phone call. He knew the police were listening. He's a smart man. Why else would he snap his phone in half after the call? It is obvious that he still 'loves' his family. (Or, as stated by Bill Hader, he loves his family to the extent that he possibly can. He still believes that giving them money/providing for them = act of love) If you saw the phone argument as a change in Walt's character to a singularity of evil, I'd say your wrong. :p Why did he leave the house in the 1st place? Because Flint called the POLICE. Of course he knew they'd tap his call.

Getting back on track- The fact that Walter Junior (now being called FLINT again by his loved ones, hmm..) called out his mother in the car ride home from the car wash "If you knew about this your just as bad as he is!" ---is pretty interesting, especially considering Skysenburg didn't reply. Did what he said get to her? OR was she thinking "your darn tootin' I'm a force to be reckoned with!!" (we've seen that Sky is capable of doing dark things. She can be very dodgy in her personal life, opting to go along with Walt's business, and even going as far as to make up the gambling lie. She clams up when shes under stress which leads me to believe shes a great manipulator. Skyler is cold too. If this show has one theme, its that every character is a faulted character. (Marie's kleptomania [which is a sign of control issues, paired with her need to know everything about everything] Or Hank's arrogance, and pride) I'd go as far as saying Sky has been in it for nothing the money. I don't think Sky has Mr. White's OR Flint's best interests in her heart. She's a very vain person that cares about herself & her princess Holly. Typical of a money-minded middle class blonde woman, right? She IS a dirty book keeper after all. She didn't think twice about cheating on Walter and she wouldn't think twice about picking up a knife and slicing his face up either apparently. Am I the only one completely head splittingly angry at Walter Junior for calling the police and telling them his FATHER picked up the knife? Did he not see that Skyler had it the entire confrontation? I thought he was a bright kid but apparently not.

As far as Jesse and Walter's relationship, it seems DEAD. First the police pitted them against each other and made both of them believe they were vying to kill one another... Now Jesse knows that Mr. White allowedhis girlfriend to die, AND we finally hear Walter admit to poisoning Brock. "Jesse, I KNEW what I was doing! He's alive isn't he!?" As far as Jesse being stuck in the dungeon... Did anybody catch what jesse was saying to Todd in that holding pen? He said something to the tune of "I told you where the tape was! No one else knows about it!" What was up with the fact that Todd pinned pictures of Jesse's girlfriend and her son to the support beam? Is that for morale or a threat? (lets not forget that Todd's whole family is in the Nazi revival movement, and Jesse's girlfriend is of latin descent) Does Todd have a heart? He did shoot that little boy dead. But after Jesse punched him in the face for cracking a snide remark about killing that boy, did Todd think about his actions? Does Todd have a twisted kind of respect for both Mr. White AND Jesse? & if so, will that wind up being a weakness that sees Jesse free? Can't forget that the director showed us that Todd isn't a business minded individual. He kept the tarantula in the jar that the kid had collected on his dirtbike, which suggests (& perhaps foreshadows) that he lacks in reasoning when it comes to perpetrating his crimes. I predict Todd is going to make a mistake. I think he DOES have a respect for Jesse and he DOES have a conscience. We will see. What else? Ding Dong, Hank is dead! Assistant Special Agent in Charge Schrader's- dead! He went out with a bang. & kept his pride.

[possible spoiler alert. I warn you that I may reveal things you don't want to know in these next two paragraphs. Do not read if you'd rather watch the show with no preconceived notions] In the preview of the next episode, the voice of Saul Goodman can be heard saying "You worry about your wife and kids. If they don't have you, they're going after her! There are two DEA agents missing. Presumed dead! How much time have you got left?" This possibly shows that Walter gets in contact with Saul and basically asks the question: "what do I do now?" It also reveals that we will learn where Walter is at with his cancer. It showed the house, red SUV parked in the driveway. No sign of Junior's "Stang". (lol) & a strange silver car parked down the road pointed at the house. It shows Skyler sitting on the couch, smoking again! (looks like shes going into withdraw mode again!) It shows Jesse looking side-to-side, thinking conniving. It shows Marie in the passenger seat of a car, crying. Who is driving? & it shows Todd's uncle smoking a cigarette, which means he'll definitely be in the next episode! Does this mean Walt is going after his money?

Furthermore, was walt REALLY that upset about Todd's family coming through? You all know Walt has that streak of Power Hunger. Put yourself in his situation. He never seemed to genuinely care about Hank. When he was shouting, did it seem sincere to you? I felt like a part of him felt pretty damn powerful watching that caravan of his (then) employees draw near. Did anyone else feel like Walt losing the majority of his money to the Nazi family was like Walt getting castrated? I almost wanted to turn off the TV at that scene. Is the Ricin for himself? To avoid a painful cancer death that he cannot even stay in a hospital for at this point? Who spray painted Heisenberg on his house and why does he grab the ricin. & where is that cute Lydia gal? I hope shes in the next episode. :D /END.

I think Todd will be killed by Jesse for sure.
Walt will go against the Nazis guns blazing to get his money and leave it for his family, and albeit crazy, I think, just possibly he will realize he can't satisfy his family as well as his ego so after leaving the money for his family, he will ingest the ricin himself since he's doomed from the cancer anyway he will achieve one last victory for himself by dying on his own terms knowing his family is taken care of.
Just speculation if course but I'm actually somewhat enamored in the idea of him taking his own life.I think that would make a very satisfying series finale.

I agree. However, I think it would be even better if the very last frame of the entire series, after all of this plays out, is Walt ingesting the Ricin.
No showing his death. Or how sick the Ricin will make him. Just him ingesting it then fade to black.

As long as it doesn't end with Walt munching on onion rings and the screen goes black, I'll have a little more closure than with a certain other show. :p

Going back a little bit here, but did anyone else notice when Walt was rolling his one barrel of money across the desert there, he passed his pair of pants he lost in episode one (was it episode one?)? The ones that flew off the hanger from the RV?

Trivial observation, I know... I thought it was pretty cool, though.

Yea I was thinking maybe they might just show him drinking something after giving the money to his
family then pan to the empty vial that the ricen was stored in.
then " created by Vince Gilligan... good luck topping this inferior producers around the world"

The beginning for me was very slow and until Walt evolved I wasnt too interested. Im now hooked and am awaiting the second half of the final season!

That's how it was for most of my BB converts. I just tell them, "Watch until Walt shaves his head. THEN, if you somehow don't like it, you can stop."
