Having had a little more time with my MBV selections, here are my thoughts a couple weeks after the order -- and keep in mind that some people are saying they take up to a month of steeping to really come into their full potential, so there's your grain of salt, but here goes:

Throat hit and nicotine satisfaction are very good. Nose is very good, which makes the next sentence seem incongruous...

Flavor is pretty mediocre. It's not that the flavor is bad... it's simply that there's hardly any of it, compared to the stuff I've had from other vendors.

Granted, my experience with other vendors isn't too far-ranging. Basically, I'm only comparing MBV's juices to offerings from Halo, Heather's Heavenly Vapes, Synergy Vapor and Vapors-Ecigs.com's "Organic Tobacco."

Compared to those other offerings, though, I'm just not getting much flavor. What I do get is actually really nice -- just wish there was more of it, and with an extra flavor shot in each of the juices I ordered, I'd expect these juices to be more flavorful than the competition's offerings, not less.

ADDENDUM: I should point this out, having said all that -- you do get what you pay for. MBV's prices are the best you can find for an American-made juice, or at least the best I've ever seen. So there's the tradeoff. A bit less flavor for a lot less dough.

i guess ill try to steep it a little more, but its been a month since the date on the bottle :/

Don't feel bad. I requested their cappuccino as a freebie. They gave it to me, I opened the bottle... Smelled nothing. It was clear, too, no color whatsoever. Put it away for a few days, unscrewed the cap, sniffed, still smelled nothing. So I squirted a few drops onto the palm of my hands, rubbed them together, and sniffed. Still, nothing. So I wrote them an email and asked if maybe I got a bottle of unflavored PG/VG on accident. They immediately sent me a replacement bottle. Same thing. No color, no smell.

I asked one of my coworkers who still dripped to test it in her atty. She dripped a few drops and said, "I don't taste anything." I was confused!

I wrote them ANOTHER email, and they sent me ANOTHER bottle of cappuccino (mind you, this was the freebie in the first place, they didn't have to do ANYTHING -- but they did!). STILL didn't taste, see, or smell anything.

Well, to end the story, cappuccino still doesn't taste or smell anything like a cappuccino. It doesn't smell like anything at all, still.

Moral of the story: you're not going to like everything you get from MBV, but trust me, there's got to be at least one flavor there you'll jones for.

I've strangely become addicted to their Caramel Apple, but my fav is still Rootbeer Float. Yeah, the flavor of the RBF is a bit weak, but I added 2 shots and all good. The Caramel Apple is delic though. 1 extra shot and I'm not sure I should have done that.

I also got their Ecto Cooler. I'm letting it steep now...as, to me, it tastes quite like an orange PEEL at the moment.

My buddy got Double Apple and it's very good.

I have freebies of Blackberry and Sour Grapes that I haven't tried yet...I need to get a dripping atty.

They are my go to juice company in emergencies. Price is great but more importantly their shipping is ridiculous! I click submit order and its usually already in my mailbox. :) right now I am bursting at the seams with juice .. Over 1000mls and more on the way so I don't think I'll need them for quite a while.:vapor:

Send some my way, a noob in Milwaukee is always appreciative. Plus a little guidance to a new hobby is always welcome.

If you read the info in the section where you can order your juice tailor made, you'll see they really, really, believe in not over-flavoring juice... and they do have a point because it can go perfumey/soapy if you do. Trust me I DIY and have done it. When combining flavors if you go over a certain percentage total you get yuck. Here's what I do at MBV: I order flavoring in the same juice... how do I say that? LOL... I don't mean paying extra for a flavor bump, I mean that along with my juice purchase, I step over to the flavoring DIY section and buy the same flavoring (I believe its what they use.) Of course, you can't do that when sampling juices to find what you like but once you do you can add more flavor if you want. In the long run, ordering a 50ml size and adding a few drops of flavor you paid around 2 bucks for is way inexpensive vaping... best I've seen other than full-on DIY.

I really like the Rootbeer Float I got. I ordered it again and got 2 extra shots and mmmmmm I like.
I also tried some of their Ecto Cooler. I'm sorry, not much for it. I'm sure others like it very much, but to me it tastes like and orange peel.
I've come pretty fond of the Caramel Apple.
I got a sample of Blackberry...no thank you. It's another one of those flavors that they just can't get the imitation flavoring right. It also has to be vaped at like 4.5 watts, so I have to adjust my voltage every time I change tanks.

List so far:
Butterscotch (+1 shot) - Ordered twice. Once I ordered 1 bottle %100 VG and 1 bottle %100 PG and mixed my own. Just disgusting no matter how I mixed it. Let steep for a month, even more gross.

Butter Rum (+1 shot) - Exactly the same as Butterscotch. Both I tried in my VV Novas, Splitfire, and my MomnPopvapor shop tanks. EWWW.

Sour Grapes (0 shot) - Have not tried yet, smells good though.

Rootbeer Float - Ordered twice. Flew through the first 30ml (+1 shot) and ordered a 50ml with 2 extra shots. MMMMMM GOOOOOOD. Will order again with +3 shots. I might also purchase my own RBF flavor to add as I like.

Caramel Apple (+1 shot) - At first did not like. After a bit of a steep, I liked. The more I vaped, the more I liked it. I've ordered more, both +1 shot. Next time I might try a 3rd shot, but that might be too much. The green apple generally overpowers the caramel, but there is a hint of it there quite frequently, and I like it. A little more caramel and it's be perfect. The caramel taste seems also dependent on how hot it's vaped - more caramel at the lower range, more apple at the upper range.

Vanilla Butternut (+0 shot) - If you like butternut, fine. But you better REALLY like butternut. There was no sense of vanilla whatsoever, even after steeping.

Blackberry - Not disgusting, but it's certainly not good, either. It doesn't taste like real blackberries but more like imitation, and I don't care for imitation blackberry at all. It does have a mellow sweetish taste that isn't too bad, but I'll pass in the future. If I could find an organic BB, then I'd go that route. I'll not reorder, but I won't suggest others not try it. It was a sample, so no loss. Also, I requested it with my order and MBV was happy to accommodate.

Sweet Cherry Bomb - This is one that I got with the Butterscotch and Butter Rum. I was able to mix it 70/30 PG/VG and it was pretty decent. I reordered and got an 80/20 mix, and it's OK too. It's a little light though, so I think I'll reorder with 2 extra shots. It is a very SMOOTH and mild cherry vape.

Ecto Cooler (+1 shot) - This is my first citrus flavor. I'm not sure I like it. I like the citrus and the orange, but there is a sharp taste that I can only describe as being like eating an orange PEEL. If it wasn't for that, I'd be good with it. I woke up sick this morning with a migraine and other symptoms of my body not liking something and wanting to get rid of. I did vape rather heavily on the EC before bed. I may have issues with citrus. Suck. Probably won't order again as it's just not my thing. Recommend others that do like citrus vapes to try, though.

Overall I am very pleased with them. The mistakes I made with the Butter Rum and Butterscotch are mine. I feel I missed something and caused to taste gross, I just don't know what it is. It is possible they use two different flavorings for the %100 PG and VG, I just don't know. I may try the premix again at some point, but my tastebuds are yelling "NO!" at me right now, so not gonna happen anytime soon.

I do know that is the food favoring field that not all flavorings are created equal. The organic flavorings tend to be much better, and the fake ones taste chemically.
Perhaps that would explain why certain flavor across different vendors ...suck.

Shrug. My 2c. I can buy 2 or 3 30ml flavors from them for the price of 1 at a premium vendor. Though I can't really comment on other vendors yet.

Somewhere out there
Like they say, individual tastes vary. A lot.

I really love ecto cooler!

I wasn't too wild about the first batch of juices I got from MBV, I nearly bypassed ordering from them again. But I decided I did want to order a larger bottle of Sticky Bun, which was the free sample the sent in my first order.

I'm glad I did, because I'm very happy everything I chose in my second order, I decided to try Ecto Cooler because of all the positive reviews. I'm glad I did. I'll definitely be ordering a larger bottle of that. Also key lime (can you tell I like citrus?) and the sticky bun of course.

I'm not too fond of the freebie I got this time, but I'll let it steep before I pass judgement.

I love their prices...that being said,

Unlike last several posts, my taste-buds are "blown up". Let me explain further. I ordered 6 juices with 1 extra shot in each bottles (80VG/20PG). Whenever I vape, I can't taste other things (other e-juice, food, drinks) for awhile. If i want to vape something else, i have to brush my tongue to recover. :( All the juices are steeped for 3 weeks.

Again, I really really want to like the juices. I realize that taste is subjective, but I never had this problem before.

I placed my first MBV order on 3/20 and received it 3/23. Two days later I just reordered 236ml each of my favorite 2 a few minutes ago. I've heard here from day 1 that taste is subjective. I totally agree. But for the MBV juices I've tried they are among the best if not the best I've ever tried, cheap or not. Again, that's me. You may love something that I think is pure bovine fecal material. But that doesn't make my opinion any more right than yours.

I hope you find some juice vendor you can rave about.

didn't read the thread, just the title. but with mtbaker they have some i like, and some i don't.... pretty much just like all the other vendors. I do love their caramel apple. yummy

i mostly vape tobacco flavors (NET's or TINO's). But i do have a sweet tooth (hence my screen name). MtBaker is more on the sweet's side of things.

I also like their sweetish fish.

Have not liked more than I have liked. Finding just one is well worth the discarded 15ml bottles though.

Have liked and will reorder- Butterscotch, Caramel Apple, Monster Energy, and Thug Juice. Thug is a must steep.

With that large a menu, I could totally see how someone could order a handful of juices and not like any of them.
