Its been 2 weeks since I got my 510, the first couple days seemed to atleast help me cut back my analogs. Maybe its just me but the vapor production or w/e just doesn't seem to fill that void analogs do for me. It could also possibly be the juice since out of 4 I have tried I don't get a flavour I enjoy.

I have a standard 510 kit and have tried...
Dekang du mah 12mg which i didnt mind too much.
Dekang vanilla 12mg not much flavor and swear something in the vanilla makes me not feel the best.
Dekang ry4 6mg not bad but the flavor seems weak/off but havent tried another ry4 to.compare it to.
Dekang wildberry 6mg again not bad seems a little weak in flavor and should be called bubblegum in my opinion.

I only smoked 1/2 - 1 pack a day dumaurier signature king or belmonts the past 20 years. More like 1/2 a pack recently since I only smoke outside and has been too cold lol.

Maybe the atty doesn't heat up enough outside in the cold weather?

I am thinking of getting a new setup to hopefully help with vapor and possibly improve the taste of the liquids I still have..

Joye ego c twist
Vivi nova mini
Usb charger
Thread cover

That will run me about $40 and leave me a little to budget in another bottle of liquid thinking of trying a halo liquid like twisted java or Malibu. I am also assuming the mini novas could fit my 510 batteries when I need to charge the twist since they are 510 threaded. Just until I get another twist if it works for me.

Canvape is currently where i buy my gear/liquids in the gta/brampton area. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated

After the hours upon hours of reading these great forums and product reviews that setup seemed to be the natural next step up. So much information around here I just can't stop reading...

I think my problem is also my mindset about quitting analogs since I read a great thread about it since I posted this. I still plan to get the new setup but bring a different way of thinking to get off analogs along with it. I'm really tired of the analogs and just want rid of them :/

Careful- the addiction has begun!! Soon you'll be buying a Provari. Just keep telling your wife, you can't put a price on quitting smoking.
It does level off eventually- sort of. The problem is, the more you read everything on this forum, the more you want. Twist is great and you will keep it for a backup anyway. Looking for great juices, check out Jugheads.co

Twist is good step up, but if you are only getting one battery, keep your other device as a backup. The Twist should help you decide if the whole VV thing is for you. With the VAMO you also have to factor in the cost of at least two batteries and a charger. You may find that the twist is a great backup to the VAMO if you ever decide to go that route. Never hurts to have more than one working device and delivery system. Good luck.

Canvape has a booth at the market down the street that's open every weekend so will give the twist a try and get another twist if needed next weekend.

I would love to tell the wife you can't put a price on quitting but so far she sees it not working well for me... I'm not ready to give up just need that little bit extra I think I can get from the twist to go all next week without an analog. Well that along with some tips I've read on here today.

I really like the twist, and we are ordering a few more batteries this week. What you are considering is what my g/f and I are using right now and it has worked wonders for us. Once you get the twist and the vivi's then its all about the juice. You need to find the one thats right for you, and I second Tajji on trying out some of Jugheads juices.

Better equipment can make a big difference.

If the 'something' you are missing is the lung-feel or kick to the chest from cigs, consider upping the liquid strength to 18. When I started 12 was like air to me (felt nothing), but 10 is plenty now a year later.

Drink lots! The PG/VG in the liquid (as humectants) suck the water right out of you. Taste is hugely impaired by dehydration.

Take advantage of the canvape both for a hands-on/live check with experienced vapers regarding your draw technique. Show a fellow vaper you draw, and observe others -- compare. Looong, slow, gentle draws allow the atomizer to do it's thing (heat up and vaporize the liquid). I set up a few family members without stressing/teaching draw technique and a week or two later a remedial draw technique session had them blowing clouds when they had only been getting wisps.

Stick with it and you will find something that works. Stopping cigs isn't easy, but if you truly want to switch you WILL be successful. I just needed one puff of an ecig to get the lung feel to know even a crummy setup would be 'good-enough' for me to not be able to justify poisoning myself with cigs...with time and effort, vaping has become not just a cig-replacement but a faaaaaaar more satisfying experience. Step 1 is get of the carcinogens, step two is perfecting the rest and having fun :)

Good luck! You found ecigs - you want to stop cigs - you will succeed. The rest is just a little bit of trial and error (and a few bucks).

The Twist will be a natural transition for about $25. You'd need two to keep vaping while one is charging. The Vamo is a good mod, but would require you to have at least two 18650 or 4 14350 batteries to keep vaping while a set is charging. Add to that the price of a charger and you could spend close to a hundred bucks. You'd need a 420ma eGo charger for the Twist, but it's only about $7.

What you're considering is exactly the setup that I was finally happy with.
I started with a 510 too and it didn't do it for me either. Switched to the ego T, and is was better, but still not quite there. Then I switched to your plan and it works great for me.
Only thing for me now is that I'm finding that the PG dries my throat something fierce, so I'm ordering some 30PG/70VG liquid to see if that solves that problem.

I recently took the same step. I had been vaping for more than a year with an 808 set-up, and while it dramatically reduced my analog intake, it didn't cut it out completely (down from 30 a day to 3 or 4, occasionally 5).

So I bought an ego-C Twist, and an eco-C 650mAh, and a selection of tank/cartos - a ViVi Nova mini kit with 3 different resistance coils, an EVOD-BCC and a couple of Kanger T3/MT3s.

After some experimenting, I'd strongly recommend the Twist, the VV Nova Mini and the EVOD-BCC (the T3s not so much). I'm using the variable voltage on the Twist much more than I'd expected to get that perfect blend of vapour and throat hit. The straight eco-C battery works well with some liquids, not so good with others. So go with the Twist.

Best juice blends for me seem to be 50/50 or 60/40 PG/VG. I still use the 808 for routine vaping, then turn to the Twist set-up when I feel the need.

I'm now on one two ritual analogs a day which I stub out before I'm half-way through (it's a psychology thing for me - I don't do well with sudden loss!). It really has been a major step up and just what I needed, so I'd say you're on exactly the right lines, StarDose.

Let me guess... First thing in the morning is one of them, and the other is either after dinner or before bed...

I think you don't have to quit analog right away but decrease the quantity of analog. Once you get the right equipment and e-Juice, then you will soon find the awful ash taste of the analog. Do some research on the domestic homemade juice. You can have the best equipment but if you don't have nice e-Juice, it still is not going to work.

Well got the twist in green but they had no nova minis, so went with a Stardust v2...

I'm not sure what top coil needs to be broken in means, but I can tell you it tastes like plastic or chemical right now. I prefer to toss my 510 atomizers on the twist compared to this thing.

Hopefully I can find an online store that is under $10 shipping to get a vivid nova mini next week.
