You remind them that they hate smoking and they're ashamed? Talk to them get them to switch!
:blush:When I was on analogs, smoking area was equivalent to the water cooler at work. A calm place where everyone and anyone would talk about their plans for the weekend. Now that I've been vaping (since California laws treat vaping like smoking), smokers been avoiding me like the plague. What gives?:tumble:

Yeah it's cheaper... Well it can be cheaper :)
They're jealous because they can't or don't want to quit.:p

After switching over a few months ago I can't see why everyone that smokes isn't vaping instead.:vapor:

Taste better, no smell, cheaper, less health risk....Win Win in my book

Addiction's a funny thing. And smoking is an addiction. I know I always outwardly congratulated and "encouraged" people who quit but inside kinda resented them and was kind of .......

Heh, of course, I'm a horse's rear myself. Last smoker that sneered and said that dumb thing about, "You haven't really quit", I just smiled and gave 'em a cheery, "Enjoy your lung cancer!" on my way out...

(In short, people don't tend to avoid me because of the vaping)

Someone in HR at my job recently took the time to discard all but one of the outdoor ashtrays, and moved the remaining one into the center of a busy driveway, a clear statement of contempt for the numerous smokers in our facility. The same HR fanatic then published a map showing the location of the new "smoking area" ...

I have continued to vape in the previous smoking zone, a shaded patio with tables and benches. Not being obnoxious about it, nor am I hiding. So far, none of my rational co-workers have complained, even when eating lunch there ...

But its just a matter of time before someone with a "vapor allergy" goes running to a manager or to HR, and then the fun will begin ...

I have absolutely no doubt that vaping will be equated to tobacco smoking by company policy, and apples will become oranges ...

BTW, in a facility with more than 500 employees, I have yet to see one other person vaping. It defies the odds. They must all be in stealth mode ...
