That's pretty funny! Sorry guys, it was a balmy 75 degrees here today. Still have the windows and doors open.

V4L vapers convention in L.A., anyone?? Come on over!

75 sounds plenty enticing, indeed! 48 days until I'm laying on a beach in Puerto Vallarta. Not that I'm counting.

If you just can't live without knowing what my weather is right now... This should get updated every ~30-45sec with the current conditions from the station on my roof... Just refresh. :)

It's 37o here right now in Palm Coast, and will be going down to 28o.

Now back in Virginia and before that Phila., we were totally accustomed to these temps, but I've been here a few years now, and my blood has thinned to the point that I'm really feeling it......and not liking it.......give me a balmy 65/45 and I'm happy.

I'm really more concerned about certain plants I have in my garden!

I agree... hilarious! I know it was in the high 70s today, but it really felt like 90 this morning at the beach. :thumb:

But I know what you mean, Taryn. When it rains here in LA, people go crazy! 8-o Rockerella knows what I'm talkin' about... with the rainy season approaching, prepare yourselves for Storm Watch 2010!!

Yup. You have two contingents - the ones that are scared for their lives and drive 30 mph on the freeway because "the oil in the roads rises to the top" and those determined to prove the others wrong by driving 90 mph, weaving in and out of traffic. Ugh. I grew up in PA, where there's precipitation, on average, 300 days a year.

You were at the beach today, Viv??? Sweeeeet!!

Well I would like to point out that is overnight temp, it will probably stay that cold for ten minutes then start to rise again. It was around 55 outside today and the same expected tomorrow.

I remember the year I spent in SC and any hint of snow caused everyone to run to the grocery store and stock up on bread and milk because nobody went anywhere if there were more than 5 snowflakes on the ground! Which in all honesty is probably safer because I'm sure they have no clue how to drive on the stuff. I'm just not sure what was up with the "must stock up on bread and milk!" attitude because you know darn well the snow would be all gone by mid day!

Yes.. I can certainly attest to the fact that Floridians are a little funy about both Rain and Snow. I have recently moved here since 2007 and I can tell you... I hate when it rains. Not because I hate rain... I just can't stand trying to drive around town or on the interstate with those slow goers or the ones that try to play "derby driver". And that is in the rain.. so, I can only imagine what people here would do in snow. I lived in the mountains during my childhood and initially learned to drive a car during a heavy snow year.. so I would not be a good cnadidate to complain... I'm only saying that all it takes is a little respect for driving conditions to be safe.
As far as the weather right now... My blood has thinned some and I am truly feeling the difference. I have lived in California ( Napa and Tahoe), Mountains of Tennessee, and breifly in Minnesota . I can tell you that I truly enjoy the warm weather in Fl. This stuff we are having now needs to find a different place to live and stay there. Bring me more of the 75 and high 80's, I will be loving life!!!

Later,
Tom:thumbs:
