Anyone else HATE menthol,mint, etc?

I hated menthol when I smoked. For pretty much the same reasons Plantlvr said. I could be having a pretty bad nic fit and turn a menthol down. Just couldn't smoke them. With this is it different. I think it's because I can get mint flavors without the tobacco taste. I still can't vape any of the tobacco menthol flavors. I just don't like the combo. The mint flavors are really starting to grow on me though. I've always had a special place for Smilin but spearmint and mint are pretty tasty too
As Maxx would put it the "Menthol Drift" ... lol

I detested menthol cigs, but for some reason that has turned into my all-day vape now. 90% of the time, I am vaping a rotation of Smilin' Special Menthol and Halo's Menthol Ice and Newpure.

Me neither! Don't like menthol cigs, any kind of mints, or even mint toothpaste/mouthwash (prefer cinnamon).

Back in my cig smoking days, if I was desperate for a cig and I didn't have any, if someone offered me a menthol, I just couldn't smoke it! To me it tasted like toothpaste and I couldn't enjoy the weird [ to me ] coolness in my lungs, I wanted tobacco taste, dammit!
And now being a vaper, I feel the same way. I hope it changes but for now, just can't stand anything 'minty'.

I'm with you, the menthol vapes are too flavorful for me and mint isn't exactly my favorite flavor for anything. I do like smilin special once in awhile though.

Smilin menthol tastes like an Alpine mint. I'm persuaded that it has chocolate in it, but taste buds are funny little animals.

Interesting...because the Espresso carts taste like hot chocolate to me.

I wasn't a menthol smoker (at least not since i was a kid) but have found that one of my two preferred vapes is a 36mg mint. Provides a nice kick in the .... of nicotine, and I've found that no matter how bad my pallette is acting...I can always taste the mint.

I hated smoking any kind of menthol, but I like the menthol vaping flavors - go figure. I'm a two-fisted smoker - I always have one of my favorite flavors in one hand and some type of menthol in the other and go back and forth between them. It looks pretty funny to other drivers when I pull up beside them.

I smoked Kools pack and a half a day 2 packs a day on weekends. But I don't like Menthol Vape at all. I have tried a few and I just don't like it.

I wonder if my brain is associating Smoking with Menthol and now that I don't want to smoke anymore it built up a defense. I started having dreams that I was smoking and couldn't find my 510 or that I couldn't get it to work and then look down and I have a Kool in my hand.

I have read from a few methol smokers that are not methol vapers and I wonder why? Same thing for tobacco flavors a bunch of people never seem to find a tobacco that they like and end up with others instead.

Ohhhh! It is an odd thing, isn't it? I can't quite figure it out. You could almost put a gun to my head and try to hand me a menthol cigarette and I would absolutely refuse. I wonder why vaping is so different. *insert head scratch*

Ditto. I never smoked menthols, ever. Now SMILIN and mint are in my top 5. Alternating with chocolate/coffee. Go figure. Menthol drift. I still hate the combination of menthol and tobacco, though. How's the premium wintergreen, by the way? Anybody tried it yet?

I LIVE for the menthols...ALL of them. I would still be smoking if we didn't have such an incredible range of menthols to choose from. (I was a Nat Sherman Mint smoker for many years.) ;-)
