Anyone else have a "metal" taste using carto + tank?

I have the smoktech DCT 3.5ml tank and I'm using the stainless dual coil cartomizers.

I feel as if I'm getting the taste of metal mixed with my e-juice when i vape-
kind of like its mixing the flavor with the outside of the cartomizer

I know the black ones won't fit through the rings but it'd probably solve the taste thing.

but does anyone else that uses this configuration taste this?

I personally haven't noticed any metal taste with my tank. The black ones is the same as a stainless with only an added sticker around the outside. Which will make it more difficult to put in a tank. Plus, you'll get ink and other chemicals could mix in with the juice in there. So, I wouldn't advise doing that.

I wonder if the juice your using in it has anything to do with it.

It seems most products are coated with oil or preservitive of some type. I have been cleaning everything before I use it as you will get some funky tastes from the residue left on the product. I've been using vodka to clean stuff, it seems that's what a lot of folks use.
