and the reason i ask, is simply because i want to know if there is a fix... not to bash, or be rude.
BBUUTTT.... has anyone recieved any visions (or ce2s if it applies) where right out of the pack (literally, open the parcel, open the foil sleeve and fill without the thing getting put down) it just wont screw in tight enough to fire the unit? i got one in my last parcel, and i know (as we all should by now ) nothing can be perfect every time..... but its really bugging me having a vision with no problems other than the fact it wont connect to a batt :/ i love my visions. to be a bit more descriptive, as i go to attach it to my SB, it starts to twist on fine, but it stops with about enough room to slide a popsicle stick between the base of the vision and the SB.... it doesnt fire, and as my SB is brand new and its my only 510 connection device i dont want to force the threads to fit to make a vision work.... any suggestions (the other 7 that i bought have no issue in this department, just the one giant)

Yep, had the same problem. I took a little eyeglass screwdriver and widened the threads. There is a little vertical opening in between the threads, opened it to look like my other ones, and it fixed it. Hope this helps.

I have one Mini that has threads that seem a little tight.

You can also use a steel extender or a steel adapter attached to something (like a dead battery or a cheapie 510 batt) to force thread it. It isn't likely to hurt the SS adapter but even if it does, 3$ for a new adapter is a lot better than what you paid for that SB.
