I recently bought a Atmizoo Roller. I was not charged VAT tax.

I wanted to buy the new Hippo for my Porvari from the maker, Atmistique. Before I checked out completely, I noticed I was going to pay a VAT Tax. I canceled. I wrote them an email and asked why? They said, "It was to equalize the charges for all nations ordering", WTH.

I was going to order a kayfun Lite from Cloudvaping 9 in the UK. I canceled when the same VAT tax showed up in the checkout. I did not write them about it.

I have been buying stuff from Europe for years, and never paid VAT tax.

Anyone else having this problem.

Not sure about that but when I worked for Sears Teleservice I use to have to tell people when the tax rates for online orders were different than their local tax rate. I think it have more to do with the import/ export side of things that the vendors choice. I know the place I work at now (LIquidation Channel) we deliver to Canada but they get changed a whole different shipping than what we offer because of how their post is set up.

I wouldn't sweat it to much, thems the breaks as they say.

Reply telling them that it is illegal to charge VAT on exports outside the EU. Suggest that they check the rules and sell you the goods without VAT. If they won't, tell them you will contact HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (the UK Taxman)) to ask them what the rules would be in this particular instance.
