Anyone else love/hate their aspire nautilus?

I was using and loving the Kanger tanks, mini pro, aero, aero v2. I just picked up the nautilus Mini about a week ago and it's amazing. The closest I have come to dripping flavor and vapor production wise so far. I am awaiting delivery of two more and hope that I will not be disappointed and they will be as great as the first. So far I am loving the new BVC, bottom vertical coil. No dry hits and almost no wait time after filling. Knocking on wood hoping for continued luck with the minis.

I'm surprised in 17 replies there is really nobody contradicting the terrible reviews here. In other threads folks have raved about them. I've been very tempted to switch from Kanger, but now y'all have me thinking twice about it. My Aerotank works really well. There was some love/hate going on, but a lot of that was user error on my end such as screwing the pieces together too tightly and not using high enough voltage to prevent flooding. Since I've been taking better care of it the Aerotank has been taking good care of me. There may be a PT3 and a large order of Kanger coils in my future.
I upgraded, or so I thought, to a Nautilus in mid July. The first two weeks were great, so I bougth another. Now, I'm back to my Kangers!

The Kanger Aero was ok, but bought a Nautilus and it seemed to be better for me until the coils started going. Then the new Mini Nautilus came out and I found I could use the BVC coils on my full sized Nautilus. So I bought a 5 pack of BVC 1.8ohm and problem solved. Better air flow and 3 weeks and counting on the first one.

After spending the morning reading up on the issues, I decided to give it another try. I was able to narrow it down to bad coils! Now, I'm on the search for the right ones. :)

I found the BVC's on ebay. 14.95 for 5 with free shipping. As I said, 3 weeks on the first one so far. An added benefit you'll get much better air flow and taste also.

I feel your pain. I have 3 nautilus full size and 2 minis. Running the new BVC coils after having fair luck with the BDC coils. Bought a KFL+ and a magma this week. Have a feeling the nautilus tanks will see limited use now

Hope you are having success with your KF & Magma.

I now own several RDAs, Magma included but my go to dripper is my Plume Veil. All of my KF-styled RTAs are now in my vape locker. For out and about I use my Erlkonigin. Best RTA I have ever used, especially when wicked with Rayon (the best wicking material imo).

Take the stock coil out, pull the bottom contact and insulator, and yank out the coil.

Drill through the whole coil housing.

Drill out the air hole on the outside to 3mm.

Wrap what ever coil you want that will fit in the space, wick it with organic cotton, lube it with juice real good first, and you will be tasting your juice like you never did before and blowing clouds that surpass most RBAs and some drippers. Sub-ohm if you like, but watch out...when those rubber insulators melt they leave a taste in your mouth that Lysol won't get out!

But then again, it's all in what you want. Just cuz it trips my trigger doesn't mean it will float your boat.

Added a Origen V2 to the arsenal. It's a flavor machine, really not meant for clouds like the plume veil but that's a result of the somewhat limited airflow. It's a classy minimalist Rda that I really like a lot. I have gotten to try a plume veil and really like it. (A friend of mine has 2) :D Have looked seriously at the Erikonigin and would really like some more info on it!! PM me if you want. Yes I agree that rayon is where it's at!:D
