Aspire Nautilus Problems

I love the Aspire Nautilus. With one of them the taste went very sharp (almost like hot pepper) so I kept thinning out the e-juice strength (by adding 0mg) but that didn't help much, then I noticed that the resistance was down to 1.1 ohms so I decided to change the coil and the new coil wouldn't thread in, no way no how. So I moved the tank to another Nautilus bottom that the coil would thread into (easily) and back to the perfect taste (even now a little weak so I added some higher nic content juice to bring it back to normal). Has anyone else had this problem? Is one of my Nautilus a clone? All the boxes have the hologram on them.
