I cant tell if its just me or if the juices are actually tasting worse. I have bought quite a few different flavors, and it seems like after a few weeks they just become sickeningly unvapeable. I loved the following juices when I first got them but find them utterly repulsive now and I cant tell if its the juice that has "gone bad" or if its me: organic waffle-Vaperite, carmel cream-vaperite, tastyfinger-tastyvapor,blueberry cheesecake-tastyvapor, malty toffee-BWB. The only flavor that I have been able to consistently vape is Bobas Bounty and it looks as though they will not be making juices for a while. The flavors mentioned above were just the selected few that I absolutely loved off the bat, I have only ordered each flavor once and have not had a flavor for more than a month, does anyone else have this experience? any suggestions for a bobas bounty-esque juice that can give me a VERY subtle tobacco flavor with an equal part of sweetness?

I've never had a problem with any juice going bad, especially not that quickly........a year or two, maybe....I think it's just that you are getting your taste buds back, especially if you have only been vaping a short time, and your taste is changing......You might want to let them sit a month or two and then try them again..........

Also, be sure you are getting enough water. When I don't drink enough, I can tell a difference in flavors. Water fixes everything...........LOL

Juices have a "steep time" of 1-2 weeks. In general, people say that it gets better after steeping, but it does change somewhat. If you've already gotten used to it prior to that, however, it's entirely possible that you like it less.

For instance, BWB you mention says
All juices are made fresh at the time of order and may require some time before reaching full potential, don't think just because it is not to your liking as soon as you get it that it will be the same in a week or two. Allow time for steeping - especially tobacco flavors.

I've also noticed that after vaping one flavor consistently for a while, it can change my perception of other flavors.

Thanks for the tips on staying hydrated dearme, gonna have to give it a try since I've read vaping can dehydrate you. First time I've seen somone mention it could actually effect taste of your vape aswell.

Bugzy, thinking it could also be that you like these juices un-steeped, if that makes since. I know I hated the exhale on bobas out of the mailbox, but loved it after 2 weeks of steeping when I went back to it. The taste does in fact change over time so maybe that's where your having your problem on the taste. Shouldn't be going bad anytime soon though, just make sure you're not storing it at hight temperatures.

when I first started vaping I just ordered one liquid. luckily I really liked it. after a month or so I started trying other liquids, but I still liked the first one the best. so I decided I would order a big bottle of it. the day after that decision (but before I ordered it) I woke up and that liquid tasted and smelled like gasoline! it was the strangest thing. but I moved on and found other liquids. and have you tried unflavored? I like it and it is also good to kinda "cleanse" your palate.

I've noticed that I may like a juice right away, but the flavor becomes too much very quickly... sometimes making me feel sick and hate the juice. Sadly, I have 10 bottles from Ms T's, a few from my local guy, and 30 ml's of Chai and RY4... all before I realized that I can't do the fruity, novelty, or desert flavors. I am dying for my sample tobacco flavors from blumist to get here!!! Tobacco is all I can seem to consistently vape, too. Maybe you're just getting sick of them or noticing that it's just too much flavor?

I started Banana Nut Bread from Ms. T last night, and it was great. By tonight, I've mixed in some tobacco flavor to take the edge off, and it's vapable but not all day worthy. Nothing against, Ms. T, of course... all 10 flavors are fantastic, just not something I can do all of the time. My husband couldn't be happier with all 10 of Ms. T's juices, though. It's funny watching him get so happy about a juice flavor. lol

Possibly a really dumb question, but what does unflavored taste like? Nothing? Or does the pg/vg have a taste?

I smoked many years and my taste buds may never completely recover :) but I'd say it's a bland taste. I've seen some people describe it as somewhat sweet. my unflavored is 50/50 pg/vg, 6mg nic (from myfreedomsmokes.com). I think vg has a slightly sweet taste.

here are a couple of threads about it:

Many juices can change over time due to the ingredients working together but that change usually lessons with time. There is a chance you just like it before the change but the majority opinion is the opposite. If you're storing it in a cool dark place storage shouldn't be a problem, I've got some juices 1yr old and still taste great to me.

My guess is if you recently started vaping your taste buds are going to change time and time again with no warning and seemingly no reason. That usually straightens out in the first few months. Also you should drink more fluids and the fluids you drink can effect the taste of the vape drastically. I started early on only drinking water for the most part when I vape which doesn't seem to conflict with the flavoring, plus it's better for me.

...double+1 on the above...as has been said many times around here...what you like today, you just might hate tomorrow...and vice versa...especially so, when you first start............

p.s. drink lottsa water, stay hydrated...it helps keep the palate fresh and speeds the detox process........mj

I have 3 daily flavors that I like. I keep 3 PVs beside me all day and just alternate them as the mood strikes. My daily flavors are all light simple flavors.....citrus (grapefruit), pear, and peach melba. I also like to vape unflavored occasionally. It does cleanse the palate and I like the taste. Unflavored mostly just tastes clean with a very slight sweetness. My juices are all 24 mg 80/20 pg/vg mixes and mostly DIY.

I quit analogs in July 2010 and didn't start vaping until about a year later. I almost exclusively vape fruit flavors.

I was told once that if your juice seems to loose flavor or seems different give it a good shake and then let it sit uncapped over night. Also keep them out of the sun to protect flavor and color as well as the nicotine in them as it will degrade in sunlight and heat. Some people keep them in the fridge.
As for unflavored- yes it will have a taste. it's more of a sweetness than a taste. PG is an alcohol sugar and sugar is sweet.

You may find a lot of ideas here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-discussion/244945-2011-juice-year-award.html

Personally, Ive found that Welcome to Copper Creek - Online Store 's House Blend is wonderful and gets better and better as it steeps. The last bottle I had was a good three months steeped and I couldnt put it down. When I reordered a fresh bottle, it was still good, but I know it will get better as time passes. Some people have described it as "the new Bobas". Not because it tastes like Bobas, but because it has a taste that no two people can describe the same. Chocolate, Vanilla, Tabacco, Coffee, Cake, Nuts, Caramel... Its different to everyone. I couldnt even begin to tell you what it tastes like. Its sweet without being a dessert vape, and has a flavor that helps control the urge to pick up an analog. It has quickly become my only all day vape. Not to mention that Copper Creek mixes each bottle fresh to order and has a born on date so you know exactly how long its been steeped. You also get a custom mixed 3mL sample of any flavor on the site of your choice mixed to your ratio and nic preferences. She is out of stock on the House Blend right now, but will be back to mixing it "soon." When she says soon, I would imagine before the beginning of next week. They had a run on 120mL mini-jugs becuase of the thread I listed above.

Give them a shot. If you like Boba's, Im betting you will enjoy House Blend. And its usually easier to get a hold of. :D
