I have drippers, tanks and mods all over.

Do you guys find yourself's always looking at different mods and tanks or drippers?

It get's overwhelming at times. (And costly)

Anyone else find this (Currently vaping my dripper at 80W today)

There are just too many things to choose from (Is this a good or a bad thing)
    I did, but not anymore.
Actually got kind of sick of all the new tanks & coils coming out one right after the other and coils for what you have becoming so difficult to find o_O

I'm happy with a 30W iStick and a GS Air MS tank.

Tanks are a different story with me. I have over 50. I do building classes and have over 300 stock coils rebuilt. Got to keep up on what our local store sells. So I get everything at a very reduced price. A lot of times for free to test. Even tested a Protank Mini 3 & Nautilas Mini on Temperature control. LOL CHEERS!

I've been playing around with a number of different options (none of which goes over 70W) but have found *MY* vape style(s) don't really need that. I'm quite content with my iSticks and my PT2s (nods to @Robert Cromwell and @Foggy Road for simple rebuildable heads). I mix it up with a Nautilus or some STM/STNs now and again, and I have a couple of Velocities that I play with when the mood strikes. Have a couple of TC mods - again, for play purposes. But I keep coming back to "simplicity". I've bought a couple of mechs to have in my "stash" should the tides of vaping turn against us. I have cotton, a little bit of rayon, wire, PG/VG/Nic/Flavors and replaceable batteries (and even some Kicks for the mechs).

It's "amusing" to crank out a big cloud once in a while, but that's not *WHY* I vape. I've looked at all these new-fangled doo-dads, and I can't figure out "what's in it for me?"

Like @daleron, many of my tanks are "similar" because of some interchangeability of the heads. Never tried a GS Air or a Melo, or a Lemo, or so many of the other options out there. I don't want to get caught in having so many different options, but then no supplies with which to use them. Maybe there is a "better" option out there, but after almost two years, I don't feel like I have to chase it.

See thats the thing @DingerCPA mods are so inexpensive that you can buy styles and style with it. I wear a tux I want a small classy xpensive lookin mod. I wear jeans and novelty t shirt to a game I want my 1stick 60 watt with a funky sleeve. I want power and not care about flashy I use my crazy uber high power hobby made mods. Style is now an option in vapeland and I luv it.. Back a while performance of devices was huge and not many style choices because while many devices were cool looking it may have had performance issues, now almost all mods are pretty much solid..

This is absolutely the beauty of Vaping now (I tried with cigalikes back in 2010) There *ARE* so many options, and yes, the choices can be overwhelming!

But, it all boils down to "Vape 'em if ya got 'em!"

weird... we have all these choices of ciggies, beer, hard alcohol but we tend to buy just 1 preferential...
mine was Kool Filter Kings, Guinness Stout, Meyers rum....
Its not weird Bunny the cost dictates fun purchases in differences they all are same basics just glowing a coil, the savings on not using analogs allows us to have many varieties of pv's. Even if I tried I couldn't buy so many pv's or ejoos that they cost more than my analog days. My cigs already were 10 bucks back in the 90's they are now 17-22 bucks and I was pad smoker til I started on pipe tobacco..
If cars were uber inexpensive some, yes, would choose one or two while others would need acres to park their vehicles. I am an infinite acre car park type maybe just drive that one once but ya still wanted it lol... The only drawback is maintenance and ecigs are very low maintenance devices with being predominntly SS.

not really as I'm already used to it with computer hardware. tons of them to choose from and they always come out with better ones. I just get what I feel is comfortable price wise and in my hand/vaping the rest idc much about. I mean I like to vape but I'm trying not to collect as much stuff I have other obligations tot ake care of and I eventually am looking at quiting in the future

Only because I can't decide which looks best to me.........
I haven't yet reached the point where regulation is important to me. I do use a Kick module when vaping at 1.5ohm or more though. I vape mostly at 1ohm to 1.4ohms mechanically. When I want more or less at a given OHM I just choose different wire or build for the next coil.
That said I will probably get a Regulated Squonker for my next mod. Just because.. I find playing with the wife's Istick to be fun. But I find that my sweet spot on her regulated device is pretty much the same power levels I get from my mech. So I have yet to pull the trigger for regulation. I got her the Istick, because it was pink and cute. I also got it, because, I didn't and don't know what a good vape is for her. She is not going to put up with a ton of experimenting with coils to find a good vape. Better to build a coil for her and adjust the power on the mod to achieve a good vape. Where I will build several coils for myself and swap them in and out.

Speaking for myself, I never, ever buy more then I need! But.......

I "need" a backup mod for my backup mod for my regular mod. And since I only use sub tanks now, my MVP2 sits gathering dust (tried to find it a home, but can't even give it away) so I ordered an IPV D2. Not sure where it will fit in my "backup chain", but depending on how well I like temp control will contribute to it's placement in said chain. I have only had one mod ever "go bad" on me, but I will be prepared should any "bad" happen. As pappy always said, "Buy when they need to sell, not when you need to buy."

Then all those tanks....... Oh!, this is about mods. Never mind!

I have everything from nautilus mini, RDA,RDTA, subohm tanks and istick20w to 150wtc mods(no 200w yet). And I still use most of them from time to time. I just don't like it when they throw things out so quick that are not ready. The latest was the Crius for me. First release post holes too small and dedicated drip tip, held off because I heard they were goona fix these issues. So when they did, I got one. Haven't even put a build on it yet, and now they have a velocity deck coming. That's what is frustrating to me. Will not be buying the newest one, gonna stick with the one I ended up with. Also will not be buying any that only use premade coils without a good rebuildable option, since all these laws are up in the air. But I do think if you are new to vaping, all the new products could be overwhelming.

Had a couple 356 years ago. A '59 356A and a '61 356B. Always wanted a Speedster, but even in the late '60s they were hard to find, for reasonable price. Glad I got out of that hobby. They were fun cars though.

Never had a Speedster, but did have a nice Cab for a while.
My kids even won a few car shows with it.
