So I have come to the conclusion that I much prefer VG over PG.
The flavour may not be as good as PG but I like the amount of vapour and the fact that it does not cause a scratchy throat. My only concern is will this cause me to go through more atomizers?
also does anyone know if there is significantly less vapour if you were to go 50-50 VG-PG or 75-25 VG-PG?

Thanks in advance!!

Personally i prefer a 50/50 vg/pg mix or even 30/70 if im using them in cartos or tanks. I have used 100%vg but personally i do not like the slow wicking. Vg seems like it takes forever to wick on any atties i use. I have no complaints about vapour at 50/50 or 70/30 but IMO all does seem to depend on each juice from which vendor. And Luckily i am not sensitive to pg, so a mix isnt a problem for me :) Also ive had scratchy throat feelings from different juices as well, may or may not be the pg !

I use 100% VG from Virgin Vapor and her VG juices are not thick at all (she thins her VG with distilled water BEFORE adding flavor, so no flavor loss at all). My cartos last me at least a week to 10 days each and I usually change them, not because they are bad, but just because I enjoy a fresh carto. So really it is just a matter of finding a vendor who offers a VG e-liquid that is not super thick or super dark in color, as that can cause clogging too. :)

try cignot.com for 100% vg there eco pure line is all vg and they have another line called basic some of the basic line has 4% pg .. those with pg are clearly listed ... i use the eco pure line have been for almost 2 years mine is called eco pure rich... try it in a small 6 mil bottle first so you can save a little cash..and not just wasting your money on larger bottles when you don't like the flavor...

I haven't used 100% VG yet, though I've tried it once and it was pretty good. I tend to prefer a 70/30 PG/VG mix myself. For me, that ratio has provided tons of vapor with my current setup and doesn't sacrifice any throat hit or flavour, so I haven't really felt the need to go with an all-VG juice.

So true! Velvet Vapors, Alien Visions, and VapeRite are all great at making PG-free juices also. Straight VG is WAY too thick and some suppliers do not understand this. My condolences to anyone's cartomizers that have been jammed full of straight VG.

I haven't heard of less vapor from VG - PG mixes.

If you're set on VG and don't want to gunk up your atty - place your closed bottle of liquid into a bowl of very hot water for 30 minutes.

Then remove it and give the bottle a good shake.

Store at room temp.

This will thin the VG considerably (you can repeat the process to thin it more) - so less gunk. The sweeter side of VG will always cause some gunk though - so do clean your atty regularly.

100% VG here. I think I had an allergic reaction to PG when I started vaping. Whatever it was it scared me enough to not want to try PG at any percentage again. Since I wasn't far enough in to consider the pros and cons of PG versus VG if i'm missing anything I wouldn't even know it. Can't help ya out there.

I have two e-cigs in use at a time and my Joye 510 attys are lasting 90 days on average before the coils dies. Two attys every 90 days - I can live with that.

Cleaning your attys is important. My vendor says it's even more important if using 100% VG. As she put it "Dry bunring an atty might kill it. But not dry burning it at all with definitely kill it."

Pure VG is fine to vape and will not distroy atomizer.

What you need to watch is that you don't let your atomizer dry out using VG. VG is thicker and will not wick as well a PG, so its more important that you keep your cartridge, or cartomizer topped up with VG.
No but it will shorten their life (atties) and don't wick worth a damn in cartos, unless diluted.

100% VG vaper here. 80/20 VG/H2O = consistency of PG.

I started with Juicy Clear's flavors, which I think are a 70/30vg mix, but vaped 100% PG for about 7 or 8 weeks. Its when blood started showing up in big clumps when blowing my nose** that I switched to DIY and went with 70VG/30PG mixes. Not easy to make a pure VG juice because most of the flavor extracts are sold in PG only.

** (I've never had a nose bleed in my life so it was a little startling to me when I was filling up tissue paper with globs of blood. I haven't had any problems since I went back to juices with VG.)

Some folks would disagree with you and blame it on nicotine withdrawal ;)
