Anyone else use the Areo Base on a PT2 yet?

i just got mine a few days ago thanks to a user on here suggesting it in another post of mine.. and well,I LOVE IT. fits right on it,uses the same coils,no hassle,no issues. i have linked the thread in case you were wanting one yourself. just follow the link in the second post and also remember to like his post for the help. also,this can be a general pt2/areo base thread.

I've been looking at those. I've been using the base from a mini ProTank II for the same purpose but it looks kinda wierd.

Found a pic!!! Exactly what I need! It will fix both pt2 problems I have! Spring loaded center pin pushing my bottom pin in plus air flow adjustment.

Jan was supposed to be my no spend on month, so was waiting for Feb to get a couple of these. Unfortunately my budget got blown when a wild raccoon found my attic (New Years Eve) Spent the last 3 weeks tracking it via video and repairing entry exit holes in house it kept making. Finally took the bait in cage and he is GONE!! It nearly made it into my house on a couple occasions - yikes! Anyway, I figured since my budget was blown anyway, I ordered two of these today. I would have gotten 3, but Sun Vapers said 2 was the limit. I'm really looking fwd to the improvement ppl are saying it makes to the PT 2.

the same coils that go in your standard base... im not too sure about technical terms with those coils yet but i know what they look like. lol. i have a 1.5 ohm rewicked coil in mine...i removed the 1mm from the top of the coil and replaced it with 2mm...it vapes allot better with less gurggles and a little more flavor.

I just ordered one today and I really hope the airflow is loose. I have an aqua clone and I love opening the airflow all the way. Unfortunately, the tank is so small I continue to use the protank 2 throughout the day. I still like the protank just need a different draw.

I ordered one from myvaporstore (still on the mail truck) and it states that it is Compatible with Kanger Protank II, Kanger Protank 3 and Kanger Aerotank

Doesn't say anything about protank. I am not sure why. I have an original protank and protank II. They look the same to me except the II can be disassembled.

I ordered 3 from MVS and they came on Saturday.
I have one on my Protank 1 right now and it works great.
I have no idea why they are not listed as fitting the pt1.
But the answer is: yes it fits my pt1 and my pt2.

I've been using a PTII for awhile, and I just added the areo base today. I don't have a lot of experience with it so far, but my initial impression is along the lines of "I need to get another one of these in case I lose or break this one". Pretty happy with it so far.

The only thing that I dislike about it so far is that the control ring is fairly loose, and I suspect that it won't stay where you put it, so you may have to adjust it now an then. I haven't used it long enough to really know that, but that's my guess.
