Anyone ever arrested for DIY ejuice possession?

Some times I wonder what would happen if I got pulled over and had my car searched by a cop that didn't know much about ecigs. I make alot of DIY ejuice and label the bottles by hand. I know what I have is legal but they may not and decide to take me to jail just to be sure. That would suck! Has this happened to anyone? Just curious.

I'd enjoy the laugh - Two words: Dash Cam - You could always make the claim that it goes great with cake flavored morsels that we all know law enforcement officers enjoy... jk!

cops have test kits for all illegal substances.... lil' baggies that have capsules in them and when they put the substance in question in the baggie and break it, it will change color if it is an illegal substance.... So, its highly unlikely as they do suffer consequences for making wrongful arrests(if you have good legal representation).....

Interesting. That is good to know. I didn't know about those. I hope they all carry them. They probably all do in Houston being such a big city. It is something I have pondered about off and on. I would probably still get a ticket for whatever they pulled me over for even if they were wrong. They still could throw you in jail for many contrived charges but I wouldn't give them any reason.

Im in the police academy right now and i can assure you that there are no laws on the books regarding ecig/juices. We have strict rules we have to follow. If you get hassled about it, just be polie and courtious about it and ask the officer if he minds you explaining it to him and showing him about e cigs.

not to screw with you or anything - but what an officer would most likely confuse ejuice for, is a substance that can't be tested for without a laboratory. Cops field kits don't cover the spectrum. I could totally have seen myself in a bad situation like this when I was twenty three with the long hair/beard... looked like a hippie.

The really strange part would be this........nic is a liquid, so what "drug" would they think it was. Well the only liquid drug i can think of would be .... so your carrying around a bottle of nic right even a small bottle, say 30ml. Do you even have a clue how much of a supply of ... 30ml would be LOL

WOW a cop would have to be off his rocker to mistake the two. However that being said i have gotten strange looks when i would vape. Guess they think its some kind of drug pipe. Honestly the only think that would be a issue would be a syringe, lot of people dont know that your suppose to have a script to get those.

Even still they would test it and see there was not drugs in it. I think a box of diy would be pretty safe, does not mean they wont ask you about it though.
