Just did this the other day with instant decaff foldiers and now have about 6oz of coffee flavoring. I warmed my pg on the stove and put about 3-4 spoonfuls into the pan stirring. I then had to strain the mess out with a filter that took all day to filter but it worked. I'm still messing with flavorings to mix with this base.

Yeah, I'm torn between putting PGA through my Kuerig and trying to use PG and instant...

Do you think simply straining it through a coffee filter will remove enough particulate matter?

The odd thing is, I don't even drink coffee... I inherited my Kuerig and use it mostly for teas and the apple cider (yummy). I just want to try making my own flavoring! This is a STRANGE HOBBY we've adopted!

I use a method similar to this. I do not like the taste of PG, so I use VG, knowing that it will take longer. I use medium grind coffee, usually a dark roast because I really love strong coffee. I just put the fresh grounds in a jar with a bottle of VG, set it in the cupboard, and shake it 1X/week if I remember. After 6-8 weeks, I have the strongest flavoring one can imagine!

I strain it 3 times, first by cheap nylon strainer from the dollar store. (these grounds go back into the jar for another batch of VG.) Grounds are good for 3 uses, so get a great coffee that you really like, they go far.
2nd filtration is thru a nylon stocking. Invert stocking, rinse and dry. Use it again in another month or 2.
Final filtration is thru paper coffee filter. It is slow. Put juice in a paper filter lined funnel and walk away for an hour or so, then come back and filter some more. Replace filter when it becomes too clogged.
This method makes a flavoring too strong to mix 50/50 with nic juice... it is bitter and strong when used on it's own! I add french vanilla and bavarian cream, and a bit of sweetner to mine for a cappucinno taste, more cream for a latte. A bit more of sweetner is liked by many of my friends... not for me. (I am the one that orders double shots of expresso added to my coffee at coffee shops.)
I have added hazelnut, chocolate, cinnamon, caramel, and butterscotch to this basic formula with great success. (not all at once, one extra flavor/ 1 bottle at a time)

I blend it with VG nic and VG to reach my target mg level. If you use carts. like I do. I merely add 10% distilled or filtered water to thin the VG a bit. If I notice too much oil from the beans, I may add up to 5% PGA. We have not killed a single atomizer or cartomizer, and this is both of our all day vapes.

I am a slow and mellow person. This method works well for me. I would imagine that heating liquids or using pg may be faster. Experiment and find the method most suited to you. There is always more than one way to reach a destination.

Brightest Blessings!
