Well, fast forward a few months and I've ordered from noone else. I have noticed a couple of things. The hand written notes seem to tapper off. After a few sales, you don't seems to get them anymore. A nice touch on their part but don't expect to keep getting them. Sometimes it seems as though my orders take longer to process than they did in the beginning but I can't be sure of that though.
I have recently had a problem arise. I ordered and atomizer in late March then another (Backup) at the end of April. The new atty burned out in under two weeks. I sent Jeff a copy of my receipt and he said Sorry, there is an 11 day manufacturers warranty and that is it. The end.
I wanted a replacement and for all I know, we might have been on day 11.... Anyway, he told me he could ask the manufacturer and they'd probably say no and that I should just buy another one.... Ummm no. He was supposed to check on this but I've heard nothing since.
Maybe it's wrong to think that being a regular customer should earn you a LITTLE special treatment. At my work, the customers are golden because THEY are the ones that really sign the paychecks you know? You can't sell you soul to them but were talking about an atty that burned out in 2 weeks here.... Also, a week before all of this, I got a friend of mine started on the E-cig and she ordered everything she needed from Jeff.
Again, I'm thinking that should mean something but apparently it does not. Jeff assured me that I am a valued customer but I really don't feel like it in this case. He told me since the atomizers are so cheap I oughta just buy another.... I don't care if it's 50 cents. If it died in two weeks, I feel I should be taken care.
He said that on the website they have more expensive atomizers that have a 3 - 6 month warranty.... Where are these, can someone tell me? I've been all over their site and see nothing of the kind. I would have initially ordered THAT had I seen it.
Meanwhile I went back to a previously used vendor, Rocky Mountain Vapor to get new atomizers. At Wordup the 901 atomizers are just under $10 with free shipping and a 11 day warranty that you apparently have to get through Jeff on.
At Rocky Mountain Vapor, they charge $7 for a 901 atomizer and shipping is like $2. AND they offer a 30 day warranty from the date of receipt. (I received them 2 days after I ordered, BTW.) You can do the math here.... I MIGHT keep getting juice at Wordup but I will never buy another accessory from them again. Hopefully my friend has no trouble with her purchase.
This might seem like a trifle but it really left a bad taste in my mouth.
