I have noticed something since I started vaping about a month ago. I have had trouble with dry skin for years, and the glycerin and/or pg that I'm inhaling seem to have served as a moisturizer. Please excuse the candidness, but I notice my perspiration is kind of 'sticky' as well.

Earlier in this string someone referred to Peg, seemingly as an alternative to glycering and pg. What is Peg?

Thanks.
PEG is polyethylene glycol.

I suspect that this is responsible for some of the nasty tasting flavored liquids some of us have experienced.

My wife and I have been using Smoke Stik for two weeks and neither of us can ever see going back to analogs. She no longer has a morning smoker's cough and I no longer get my everyday afternoon headache. She smoked about a pack a day and use to smoke nearly two packs a day. I'm just waiting for the government to step in and screw this up!

I feel mentally better about my choice to vape over traditional smoking....but physically, no since I've always been a fairly athletic person. I've been without a cigarette for about 4 months. Longest ever in 14 years of smoking cigarettes. This, I feel fantastic about, but not as fully as I could be if I had not replaced it with a new habit of course. Although my intentions were not to quit smoking altogether.

I'm comfortable enough to believe that vaping is better for me, so I continue the habit in another form...abusively in terms of usage and financially.I haven't noticed a problem with breathing or a lack of taste during traditional smoking. But what I have found with vaping as much as I do, is I have phlegm all the friggin time!

I know what some would say, that's my lungs trying to clear themselves....I would be more willing to believe this if it didn't happen with my heavier days of vaping. Also, I'm a nose/mouth combo exhaler. Can't help it, done this for 14 years. Anyway, I notice now, I have crusties in my nose in the morning when I wake up...hate to be gross, but that's what it is. :| Drives me insane, yet I keep doing it.

But, overall I'm happy about my transition. Now, if only I could pace myself...

I've been doing a minimum of a brief cardio workout three days a week most of my life, but I still get a boost of energy and more pep whenever I quit smoking. I'm sure it isn't as pronounced as someone that doesn't work out at all, but it's noticeable. I was almost up to three packs a day before I quit though, and I've been smoking for 26 years.

Since switching to vaping, my persistent cough has stopped. I still smoke 2 to 3 analogs a day (why, I'm not sure), and am finding that I prefer the e-cig for a variety of reasons...mainly that I need the PACIFIER sensation. (I had quit smoking once with Chantix and the thing that did me in was missing the sensation of smoking.)

25+ year smoker here and I quit analogs 2 days after my first reddragon vape. Was a little hairy at first only because I had just one battery and the 1 hour smoke time vs. 2 hour charge time was killing me. Combined with waiting for fresh supplies along with a few batt and atty failures kept me on pins and needles.

First thing I noticed after "quitting" was my sinuses felt 100% better, my throat was less scratchy and I actually felt like I had more giddy up! May have been mental but I've never looked back - and I've tried all the others too; gum, mint, patch, cold figgin' turkey! NOTHING beats the switch to vapor IMHO!!
