Yeah, I think a lot of people don't realize that e cigs really work now - they think they are toys. I remember a few years ago I paid over a hundred dollars for an "e cig" and the technology was terrible, i tried a few EXPENSIVE units only to suck for my life and MAYBE get a hint of vapor... everything is different now. These are legit and people will slowly realize that.

The ladies in my golf club, after watching me smoke analogs for years, now fondly call me "Cruella". With my ego xl and big shiny chrome cartomizer I waive around while talking, I guess it does resemble a big cigarette and holder. For the most part they say they are proud of me for quitting and happy I and ecig don't smell like a traditional ciggy. Only a few ladies out of two dozen can't seem to make the transition that it is not tobaco related.

Most of the people at work remember my heart attack and are happy to see me vape, as the first year afterward I was smoking like a chimney! I had one self-righteous non-smoker start in with the "but you are still addicted" garbage. I just said "yup, I'm an incurable addict. I admit it. So, would you rather see me with this or a cigarette? 'Cause really, that's just the way it is. I'm hooked. It's either this or death sticks!" He has since asked me if I'm still using the thing (we don't work together regularly) and when I say yes he says good deal.

Oh, I forgot how much I get made fun of if anyone sees my "supplies" at my place - everyone makes drug paraphernalia references lol. So, I think it's good advice to put all your bottles and batteries and accessories in a drawer if someone is visiting, like a relative or coworker, and you don't want to get made fun of or explain why you have a stockpile of all this stuff...

I use a Prodigy at work with a vaporescence carto tank on board. I get some funny replies from smokers but I always tell them that they have one foot in the grave and I chose to pull mine out.

Sorry for being a bit off topic, but I need to know. Hairball, how does the Vaporescence carto tank work on the Prodigy? I want to try it out but was worried that it wouldn't fit due to the juice well on my v3.1.

Back on topic, I've never really been laughed at. I do get some funny looks every now and then by random people in public though. Most people who've stopped and asked about my PV seem somewhat interested in it.
