I've been thinking of getting one, but haven't really seen any reviews or heard much talk about them. I had an 801, but wasn't happy with it as it leaked everywhere constantly, no matter what I did. Is this a problem with the 201s for some also? How do they differ? I'll take any info out there! Also, does the kit come with the usb and usb wall adapter or just the regular charger? Not that it makes that much difference, just wondering. That black with the vapor on it really makes me want one, I love that!

Hi Hinterscher
Here is my opinion on the M201. I purchased the kit from Shawn and it came with 2 attys, 2 batts, a usb charger, wall charger adapter and5 pre filled carts. While the pre-filled cars are ok I prefer either blanks or just dripping. The vapor production is good and the throat is good as well. I had a sore throat for about the first week I used my new 201. While I prefer to drip, I don't drip when the atty is attached to the batt and I only drip about 4 drops at a time just to be sure I don't flood the batt. I learned this from using an 801. I too had the same problems with the 801 leaking and so I just resigned myself to using the pre filled carts and making sure when I refilled that I didn't use as much juice as I do on the 201. The problem that creates is having to top off more often, but at least I am not leaking/wasting juice.

Just so you know I purchased the 201 as I wanted to use the 201 attys on my vapre51.

You might want to check out the 510 as many say it's got monster vapor and throat hit.

Thanks for the advice. My husband has my 510 and my 801, that's how I got him started vaping:D. So the leakage problem is still there or no? You lost me a little with the dripping and all, I've got 3 kids running around, hard to concentrate! I'm mainly concerned with the leakage. I want a cart I don't have to fill every 15 minutes. I have a KR808D-1 that I like because I only have to change them twice a day and I have a Protege that I like the vapor from, but still back to the refilling constantly. Thanks!

Sorry let me clarify...

The 801's leak. So I use the pre filled carts to avoid leaking/wasting juice. I plan on using these attys with the pre filled carts on my Vapre51.

The 201's don't seem to leak, however I only drip about 4 drops every 20-30 hits. Since I have 2 attys this ends up being about 2-3 times a day. I bought this kit so that I could use the 201 atty's on my Vapre51.

If you choose to drip, I suggest making sure that the batt and atty aren't attached and that you check to make sure you aren't leaking fluid. I do this by only dripping 3-4 drops at a time and it has worked very well for me. I also check the atty/batt connection after a couple of drags to make sure I am not leaking.

I bought an M201 stainless kit before my Vapre51 came in, with the intention of using the M201 atomizers on the Vapre51 later. This gave me time to try the unit out and break the atomizer in.

I'm now using the M201 atomizers on the Vapre51 only, but when I was still using the stock kit, I was still getting clouds of vapor and tons of throat hit. As far as the cartridges, when I'm not at home I do use cartridges (used one of the pre-filled that came with it, been using blanks since) and they hold a LOT of liquid. I want to say it will hold 1ml of juice.. which is a lot compared to my M401, to say the least. :) No leaking issues experienced by me.

As far as the charger -- you do get a USB charger, then a wall plug for the USB charger.

My only complaint on the unit is the hyper-sensitive batteries. They were even more sensitive than my M401 auto batteries. Other than that, GREAT unit!

Thanks, that was what I was wanting to know. I'd already watched your review:D but thanks for posting it for me! I don't know how it is, but when my husband uses the 801, no leaks at all for him, but me (even when he fills the carts for me)tons of leaks every where. I think 801s just have it in for me!:lol:I've got a wtb used atty and batt posted so I can try this and see if it leaks all over me too before I buy the full kit. Hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised and have the huge cart capacity I'm after with no leaks like the 801. :D
ETA: Opps, sorry just realized that wasn't your vid, it is good though.

Well, I didn't buy the M201 for using w/ anything else.I have to say after purchasing/wasting money on a lot of different e cigs this is the one I'll stay with.Excellent vapor production, throat hit is strong to say the least, battery life is very good.2 fully charged batts will last me the work day and part of the nite. Have purchased 2 kits from Shawn and some extra attys.Still useing the org attys and batteries that I got 9 weeks before. Go through 2 carts a day. Had the DSE 701 e cigar before and the cart is just slightly smaller.I don't drip though, always worry about damaging a batt etc..
If your a heavy smoker its the only one to buy.

Ok, now everybody has me wondering, so opinions needed. I currently use my m401. It's alright, but I want better vaper and throat hit. After reading 92 million reviews and posts I decided when Shawn gets restocked I'm going for a couple Joye 510 kits. I've thought some on the m201, but haven't found anything that would indicate the 510 won't blow it away. I'd be thankful if someone is able to make a comparison on the 2. I drip so cart size isn't an issue. Also, do the batteries last about the same vape time or does one model seem to hang in there a little longer? I'm a former heavy smoker so I want something that rocks without having to hold it with 2 hands, needs to fit in my uniform shirt pocket. Thanks for any and all replies.

My short answer is that I prefer my 510 over the 201. However, battery life is much better on the 201 unless you buy the extended length batteries for the 510. The 510 is also more drip friendly than a 201. Since you drip only the cart size differences won't matter for you.

Hi Twisted,
I would search the forum for Figurehead's video review of the 201. This will give you a good idea of the performance. You might also search on videos for 510 (not sure if Fig has done one) and then you can see for yourself about vapor and throat hit. Fig's vids are very informative and have helped me quite a bit on a couple of devices I own.

Here's the link:

m201 review from litecigusa.com Pit-Tube - Get drunk and video yourself

If you look over on the right of the vid you will see a review for the 510 as well.
