Anyone have experience with alcohol inks?

I've been thinking about throwing an alcohol ink patina (if you can call it that) on my SS mods. Does anyone have experience with doing something like this? Where did you get your inks and how much were they? Did it turn out good?

SS is Stainless Steel. Stainless. That means it's reeeeaaallllyy hard to get paint/ink to adhere. You'd need to use etching primer for a base coat.

There are a couple REOnauts that have done the alcohol inks on there REOs. Haven't seen/heard of onyone doing it on a SS. Good luck!

I've seen it done without any etching primer, but I've only seen it done on Youtube. I was hoping to talk to someone who has done it and can give me some tips. I'm probably going to order some and just give it a shot, and I'll definitely post some pictures when its done!
