Just got one in this week, and while I did sort of jump in with the tank, doing some research now it appears many have had the problems I am having - flooding, leaking from the air holes at the base, and generally gives me a tough time, but when it works, it works great.

My thought is it has to do with filling the tank, as you can end up putting too much pressure on the inside of the tank and cause the carto to flood.

Anyhow, I was curious if anybody here had had luck with theirs, perhaps there's a trick or workaround to ensure they don't leak like a sieve after filling and don't flood. I've been using it frequently, and it DOES work, but just not quite as seamlessly or problem free as I had hoped.

Thanks ahead for any info, tips, or tricks you might have.

Thanks Amish Ed, yes, I've seen that video actually. In my frustration, I just decided to fill the tank without the top cap on at all. I screwed everything on tight and held the glass down against the bottom o-ring and filled the tank. Kept pressure on the glass and screwed the top cap back on with the fill plug out. Put the tip on and fill plug in and so far, no leaking or gurgling. I did try using a needle tip to fill the tank, but the hole is SO small and the juice I was using was just thick enough it was building up at the hole, not to mention filling that way would have taken an hour.

Anyway, I will continue to use the tank, it's a nice piece, just doesn't quite work as intended. Not a biggie, and I'm still interested to hear what others have thought about the tank or how they've adjusted them to work better.

EDIT: So, while it's working fine now, I did get some more gurgling a while after filling it w/o using the fill hole. I can't imagine what's happening, or where, but I suspect the design is less than optimal, and am looking at the o-rings that come with this. Anyway, if I get it fixed or find a workaround I will be sure to post here.

I have the same problem! I assemble the tank the same way in the video and filled with the top cap off (not the fill port) and it works fine for the first few hits but then it starts to leak inbetween the bottom cap and base with produces a gurgle and instantly puts me in rage mode because I really want to like/use this tank

Just tried a fix from another thread and it works! Assemble the carto to the bottom cap then screw on the base and mid section, fill with e liquid and screw on the top cap without the fill screw. You can almost hear the air exit the fill port when the top cap is secured. Put the fill screw it and vape! No more leaks between the bottom cap and base for me

I have found in my 3 weeks with the agr + that I can refill with a needle cap.and it works well. I have tried slotted 2 and 3 hole pre punched cartos. I think that juice viscosity has a lot to do with the leaking issues. With high pg juices I use 1 hole 50/50 I use 2 holes. With 100 vg I use slots. Have used smok and boge cartos. With no substantial differences.

In his review, PBusardo mentioned poor airflow on the AGR+ and because of this he gave the tank a thumbs down. I had just received the tank, hadn't yet used it, and was disheartened to hear his opinion. I put the tank together and tried it and, sure enough, the draw was very tight. So...I took my trusty magnifier and checked out the air channels. All of them were out of true...that is, one side was deeper than the other. I took out my trusty Dremel (I have quite a few "trusty" tools) and very carefully ground out the channels so they were level and a tad deeper than stock. Put the tank back together, and voila, it vaped just fine. I have since received a second AGR+ and noted the same issue on the air channels. Put my Dremel to work again and have had no, zero, issues. No leaking, no gurgling, nada and the airflow has been nice (at least, for the way I vape). I use both of them using standard and LB Boges, slotted (my trusty Dremel again). I am completely satisfied with the tanks. Maybe this will help? Vape on!

The couple of AGR+ tanks I have have worked flawlessly without modification. I vape 100%VG juices and use Boge cartos, which I punch with two very shallow holes. I prime the carto using a thermometer-flick method until it is truly full, and then filll the tank to 90% using the fill hole with a needle tipped bottle, making sure to leave room for air to escape, and secure the fill hole thumb screw.

I then turn the tank upside down, making sure that the juice holes in the centre chimney are in clear air, not covered by eliquid, and with the tank inverted, blow through the drip tip, while covering the airflow channels with a tissue. This removes excess eliquid. The tank can then be filled to 100%.

I got to this method using trial and error, and after being prepared in this way, the AGR+ never leaks or floods
