anyone have issues with dna 200 devices?

No issues outside of feature requests (e.g. ability to modify power in 5W vs 1W increments). Just do it.

i bought an item before with alot of bad reviews, but the item performs very good, alas it failed with the same problems the reviewers were complaining of, so here i am thinking of getting an dna200 mod, but the failure rate looks high

Actually the failure rate is quite low. Evolv is a company that will stand behind their products 100% and is extremely responsive in my experience.

Mine failed - but like the previous poster said they stand behind their products - they sent me an rma and I am off to package it up and send it out. Nothing but blue skies and clouds when the vt200 was running... Doom and gloom now that it's gone dark... Lol

That would turn off the people who actually fine tune their vape at lower power, not everyone buys a DNA 200 to chuck clouds so it's a good decision on their part not to do 5w steps.
